    In this review I compare the old HockeyShot tiles to the new hockey training tiles. I look at how slick they are, how well the puck glides, how durable they are and how easy they are to put together.

      I really hope it's not the case. The design is better, hopefully them being less bulky won't be an issue.

    • @jamesj6597
      @jamesj6597 7 лет назад +4

      According to Hockeyshot, the lightweight flexibility of the new tile is for them to perform better when set up on uneven surfaces. As stated on their website, "...the new lightweight flexible design works better on uneven terrain."

    • @Broxty
      @Broxty 4 года назад +2

    Here's a tip: put some furniture polisher on your shooting pad/tiles and it makes it super slippery. Seriously it works!

    • @ShaydzaBlu
      @ShaydzaBlu 7 лет назад +2

      I was planning to do the same thing on the tiles but wanted to know if anyone else had tried it and what the outcome was. I assume it makes it really slick but wanted to know if it damage your tiles when you did it? Also, how often did you reapply the furniture polish?

    • @angeloginocchi82
      @angeloginocchi82 7 лет назад +2

      The furniture polisher works great. I use it on my shooting pad, not tiles, but I'm sure it will work just fine. I reapply it whenever the slickness starts to go away (once a week or so depending on how often you use it). I use my shooting pad almost every day and the puck slides just like its on ice.

  • @jamiesmith5477
    @jamiesmith5477 5 лет назад +1

    Jeremy, as far as a setup on carpet goes would you think the old style tiles would work better or the new ones? I have access to both but curious how the new ones would perform not being on an extremely hard surface like concrete and them more or less being on a fluff soft carpet. Any ideas, insight or comments would be appreciated! Thanks ahead of time!

So, I just want to use them for stickhandling and shooting, and I'm not sure how many Tiles I should get. If I use the L-shape just like U-Shape, how many Tiles would I need? How many if I fill out the center as well. Or the other way around, hwo mayn would you recommend so there is enough room to practise?
