Things to Do in Pennsylvania: Poconos Travel Vlog | First Time Snowboarding | Ski Lessons

- If you're looking for things to do in Pennsylvania, check out the Poconos! This was our first time skiing and snowboarding and it was an adventure, to say the least! A group of our friends decided to rent an airbnb for the weekend and check out the Poconos since it was only a 2 hour drive away from New York. We all tested Covid negative prior to this trip and we had an amazing and much-needed vacation during the pandemic in a winter wonderland.
Group trips are an excellent way to travel more for less money. The more the merrier. Shawnee Mountain in the Poconos was a great getaway for us as beginner skiiers and beginner snowboarders. We took ski lessons and snowboarding lessons that went over all the basics to learn how to ski and how to snowboard like a professional!

YESSS just jumped right over to snowboarding. The instructors told us that they are different activities but overall skiing is easy to start but hard to master and snowboard is harder to start but easier to progress. I actually saved a bunch of money by getting gear from one of my patients. Lucky me saving money. However, Liv did buy her ski suit lol
