With her skills in so many areas of repair and reconstruction (electrical, welding, ...) with pure craftsmanship and a minimal set of basic tools, the enthusiasm for her work and the kindness to all the people she comes in contact with - as shown in the videos - I think we have finally found a role model for MacGyver, not in fiction, but in the real world.
After 65 years being a heavy truck, jet aircraft and auto mechanic I love to see Lin fix these rusty junk pieces and make them work again with minimal tools. I love this! Thanks Lin.

My hat is off to you , young lady. Even in my prime (a long time ago) I could have never put that pump on my back and schlepped it down and up the mountain. You are among a dying group of craftsman and mechanics that can actually take apart, fabricate and repair these machines. Us Americans are lazy (and cheap) we would rather just throw it away and get a new piece of junk. The equipment you repair is old school, made back when things were made to last. Amazing.
AND I think your work is worth WAY MORE than 2 fish.

She complained of nothing; she asked for nothing. Her joyful heart was rewarded with two fish; of which she returned a smile of happiness and gratitude.

What an incredible young woman. Extremely smart and incredibly beautiful. I don't think there is anything on this planet that she cannot repair. She puts the male species to shame. She does it all with a bare minimum of tools and many are home made like the spinning wheel she uses to bind the wiring together. Those water pumps weigh a ton and for her to carry them up and down mountains is just phenomenal. Living so extreme I was wondering where she gets the spare parts from?? And always with a smile on her face!!!!

Lin, I love your videos!! Your amazing!!! I do have one concern. You must ware protective gloves when you clean using chemicals. They are very toxic and are getting into your system through your skin on your hands. Please use rubber gloves when using them.
