Dear mister Korg, can you put these three (opsix, modwave, wavestate) together with the kronos engines and the gadgets into a single keyboards with a great interace and call it workstation…. And please release a desktop version of that workstation
It would be a pretty complicated "great interface" if they were to combine three already complex interfaces together 😂
And there already are 32 key versions and SE 61 key versions of the current products, so would you like a 32 and an SE 61 key versions of the "Workstation" too? You know the combination would cost about $1300 for a 32 and about $3500 for a 61 key version? But oh wait, you just wanted the combined VST for cheap anyway 😂
And what would be the idea of a desktop version where the three are together because the three synths do three different things and there already are desktop versions of them.
So what you are really saying, you want a software bundle of the three synths for cheaper?
Would be cool but then they would cannibalize their own products
@lordbachus - You might try and send a personal request at Korg Headquartes in Japan ( they do use English ) for a custom instrument, at the client's specifications. Such an instrument would cost 5000-7000$ or more. Would you pay for it ? ... Such an instrument would need big noisy fans, to cool down its big energy consumption ... Solution nr.2 : these separate instruments can be used together, connected in MIDI, or their sound can be put in specific tracks in a mixer. Much easier.
This new custom instrument would be that expensive, because each instrument ( Modwave, Opsix, Wavestate ) uses specific separate controls, which should all be put on the exterior panel, not on the screen, because they would be too small, and the clients will not be satisfied.

@@lordbachus I understand. I admire your passion for the Oasys. It would be good for some of us if Korg should decide for a new super-massive workstation, with all new engines included. Unfortunately, maybe they know there would not be enough sales ...

With the increase in polyphony it would be nice to have true bitimbrality..not just faux splits via operator tracking.
Easily (and the bestest idea is) to make the Kronos module. It has FM engine in it as well, it has IUI and sequencer too.
Make it all more advance and voila - The Legend is born. We're asking Korg for Kronos module for years.

You can also do the same thing with Kronos 😌 and if you crazy about such sounds then Roland Jupiter 80 would be a much better choice 👋

Agreed. In Australia they are 3k which is ridiculous when the 37 key with pretty much the same engine bar some extra voices is 800 bucks. I was waiting for a 61 key version, but not at that price. I'll stick with my 37 key Opsix and playing it via my Summit.
@@bcm70 Yeah it's a joke, I have the Novation SL61 MkII, great response Fatar keys, with channel pressure, if I remember right it was around $300-400 new (bought mine used $150), and the additional voices is for sure because the Raspberry PIs in the SE versions are the latest PI 4s. Considering all this, the mark-up is totally ridiculous for the SE versions.
:56 and 1:30 are pretty cool presets.
What a missed opportunity to realize a knob per function Interface in this one. So much wasted space on the Frontpanel.
Hello friend, I am writing to you from Chile, when I update my opsix to 2.0.1 I stop having a connection with the sound library, I tried changing USB between NCM and RNDIS but there is no communication between the PC with WIN and the Korg. I'm thinking it would be nice to go back to 2.0 but how do you do that safely? Thank you so much

Even my korg Trinity from the 90s was touch screen and much bigger........!!!
Why would you put a screen so bad in this instrument ..its 2023 not 1998 !!!!
It's literally the same screen from Elektron, which everyone loves

I don't recomend to buy some korg products if you like updates. Korg do some cool devices but no updates for it. They would do so many great features to them devices but they don't
La démo est nulle. 😅 Faites donc un tout intégté comme le ModX avec plusieurs technologies embarquées et on rediscute. On a déjà tous des synthés qui savent faire cui cui et glou glou.

@@Johnny-es5vk it’s insane how overpriced this is compared to the original. I only hope they combine all the recent synth engines into one full instrument. That would justify this type of price.
While the opsix is a great synth, this demo is full of ugly sounds.
Korg create a very Bizarre Expansive TOY and it is even no BITIMBRAL..
another solution is: buy a 61key good master (AKAI ADVANCE, with polyphonic aftertouch) + 2 OPSIX Mk1, and you will have a SERIOUS SET REALLY bitimbral with DOUBLE poliphony and all for less than 1500€ (instead of useless 2000€)
