Hi Guys! Thank you for a video on the backlands of Sardinia. Everyone focuses on the coastline. You started to capture what lies beyond that. Well done! Really a pleasure to watch and I am hoping for more. We are going to Sardinia in May 23 and I want to do 50% Mountains and backland and 50% coast. Your video contributed towards that plan! Thank you!
We're sure you'll have a fantastic time! We absolutely loved sardinia and we'll definitely be returning. It has a bit of everything! The coast is stunning but we found the inland regions just as beautiful. It really is a special place to us. Glad the video helped capture a fraction of what's on offer! Thanks 😊
Sardinia just gets better, as do your awesome videos. That lake spot was lovely and the place at the end with the 130 foot gorge of water was gorgeous. And Meg's recipe looks great, though I'd want more cheese on it too.
Thank you Julie 😊 yep, we’ve been completely spoilt! That gorge plunge pool was a lovely surprise, so tempting to dive in for a quick cool off. Haha, more cheese is always welcome 😊
Great vlog guys😁Meg I was lying on the floor in a similar pose trying to get a local cat to come over to me last night lol and Cal the pictures are so worth it, hope your back's feeling better soon 👍 have a great week♥️

Hi, in the recipe (your interpretation of traditional version, i think should have a good savor, maybe more delicate than the original because in Sardinia's cuisine we have mainly strong flavors ), you made a little but decisive mistake, the bread should be slightly moist not soaked, because the soaked bread becomes dampish (that it's a trick to understand if the bread is well made or not, when wet, if it kept it's structure then it's made with quality ingredients) and lose the property to give to the dish the proper structure. The tomatoes salsa should be a little more liquid, in this way the bread absorbs the salsa's taste because the stock not saturates the bread. Last but not the least, the layer sequence in my humble opinion should be: bread - pecorino - salsa, repeat until you get the thickness that you want to get. I'm from Sardinia and i started watching a episode of your vlog because i'm curios to know the opinion on my land by the foreigner perspective, needless to say that i watched all episodes including the 3 where you convert the t5. Sorry for my english but i'm not fluent and have not practiced for a long time.
