I respect that Chris doesn't flex his language skills unnecessarily. He only uses it when he needs to use it. Lots youtubers try to prank people in America by speaking in another language, but 99% of people speak English here so it's kind of pointless. It's best when the person is struggling to speak English or you've at least built a rapport with them first rather than just randomly pulling it out of nowhere when the person is already speaking perfect English, it just becomes awkward.
Pakistan is so underrated by the Western awful medias, i went their when i was young with my Dad, their people, foods and culture is amazing especially the people so heartwarming, my Dad always told me that Pakistan sisters and brothers are like iron family, we love you from Beijing, China.
@@kartofle123 well there are many Pakistanis and Chinese people killed / murdered in America too so that doesn't prove anything Pakistan is by far one of the safest country on earth even foreign women visit there solo and have complete privacy and feel protected. .
You should speak Urdu with them in the restaurant. I don't only think it makes their day but even more, a deeper impression, it may be the first time in their lives that they see a foreginer speak their language.
Pakistani living abroad are deeply rooted with their culture and language. They love speaking Urdu if they find someone. You’ll find them more welcoming if you had spoken Urdu. Do give it a try.
Dear Chris : when in later part of ur above video when you say “I just miss Peshawar” and your genuine laugh/ facial expressions : say a lot : on whole we knew you enjoy all the Pakistan and it’s food( all the major cities) we feel proud and appreciation and gratitude for it: stay healthy happy and blessed..!!🌹🙏
Chris we are also missing you in Pakistan so much along with Max too. Hopefully you comeback here soon enough and make sure you visit some other cities this time like Hyderabad, Multan,Rawalpindi etc.
I don't think Hyderabad is ready for foreign tourists yet. This other YTuber visited it, no one would give him hotel room, and it was just trash all around. He left the next day. It's a dump, honestly.
@@hamzaansari4172 The basic idea of my comment is he should cover bit smaller cities this time around. Karachi, lahore, Islamabad are covered by almost every youtuber coming to Pakistan. Chris I can confirm the food in Pakistan is much more tastier. When I visit Pakistan I really go for the food but tell my relatives I'm there because I missed them. 😆 🤣
I love this guy. I cannot wait to visit Pakistan myself for food reviews in March this year. Maybe a collaboration bro? 🤔 love your content. Stay blessed 🙌

Nice one Chris. Was discussing with the missus earlier and said that Pakistan has an impact on the person. Once you have experienced the madness, the energy , the raw humanity of the people and culture, you have it in your life forever. Even if its the chai or the funny taxi driver...you never quite forget....
Welcome to Brooklyn again Chris. This Masha'Allah restaurant belongs to my very old friend Chaudhry Aqeel. The guy at 13:42 is Qamar, his cousin. The food just became expensive in June 2021 due to covid pandemic. The chicken is about $4-5 lbs. Then cleaning, cooking, spices, restaurant expenses and some overhead for $20 is still not bad. The same kind of meal in Manhattan would be nearly $40 bucks. Anyways, I am waiting for you again to contact me and I will take you to an Afghan restaurant in Queens and you will love their food too. Good luck.
Your love for chicken karahi makes us love you even more, whether you want to believe it or not, you are a full desi pakistani now.. And your heart will keep calling you to return home to Pakistan. Take care and stay blessed meray bhai❤️🇵🇰
Thanks so much Chris for presenting the true image of Pakistan 🇵🇰 to the world. We Pakistanis owe you big time. You're a fine down to earth person. Love you brother! I miss Max not being with you. God bless you guys. From Canada 🇨🇦

Chris i have watched all your pakistan series and also Max collection thank you so much for visiting pakistan plz visit again in summer along with Max to Northern mountain areas 👌
We miss you too, the way you expressed and made this current vlog, and the way you went to Pakistani restaurent it shows how much you liked the people of Pakistan and its every thing, your this trip will definitely encourage other people to visit Pakistan and portray the true image of Our great country. Its people, hospitality and respect to the guest. I may try to contact you through any other channel. Love you my dear , stay blessed and Happy always Ameen
It's so good to see you remembering Pakistan like this❤️ How about you follow up a recipe yourself next time? It'll be a lot cheaper and you can have it anytime you want.
Chris, compared to other vloggers you know the lingo, it helps in getting a more enjoyable immersion in the new experience. I'm Brit born Pak and love watching food vlogs and particularly when people from other cultures experience it...like eating with hands. Most Pak restaurants have hand washing facility if u did not know
Thanks Chris for the update on your visit to New York from little Pakistan. You pay for the taste, you don't go to that Pakistani restaurant every day so it was expensive but it was what you wanted. Enjoy it although a bit expensive compared to the price in Pakistan.🤟🤟
Big fan of your videos, keep them coming , so there are a lot many Pakistani restaurants in Jackson heights , NY and a lot many tastes just like authentic Pakistani foods
Hey Chris...Look forward to having you folks back to Pakistan sooner than later🤘 And this time, do plan to travel to northern areas where scenic beauty including mountains, rivers and lakes await you👍
Chris only a person with good heart ❤ can understand the hospitality, simplicity and pureness of Pakistani people, and I am sure you are that person. Lot and lot of respect for respecting us.
My mom has watched all of yours and Max's Pak tour videos and so have I; and she really admired how you have been so respectful and appreciative of Pakistan. I have also seen some of your other videos. I hope you explore more places and foods in Pakistan, because honestly, the list is endless if you really wanna have a go at the complete gamut of what Pakistan has to offer. :-) Looking forward to your next visit and set of videos from Pakistan. :-)
Chris there is that special bond of respect between the Europeans and the Afghan/ Pashtuns. The Brits came with Indian forces to conquer Afghanistan, they failed badly in 1842. Eventually the British were able to annex some parts of Afghanistan and they became Khyber province and Northern Pashtun region of Baluchistan which has Quetta as it’s capital. The Americans tried it again, the Pashtuns were the only ones who resisted while half of Afghan population of Tajiks were helping the US conquer Afghanistan. Bottom line: These are people with hearts of gold, they will offer you hospitality without asking anything in return. They just want one thing in return, not to be ordered around, colonised or conquered.
when the woman at the counter asked you whether you wanted simple karahi or charsi karahi you said simple. if you would have ordered the charsi karahi then you would be able to compare that with the karahi at Nisar Charsi in peshawar. You liked the chicken karahi in Peshawar because it was cooked in Lamb fat and only had salt in it as seasoning and nothing else. The sourness from fully ripped tomatoes is hard to beat. Secondly the guy you met on the road said he didnt like charsi karahi in Peshawar and said it has a weird smell. He was actually referring to the strong gammy flavor of the Lamb karahi at charsi. Pashtuns like lamb where as Panjabis like goat
Tbh i luv peshawari food all of it as it helps in muscle and has low calories and tastes like love as it is pakistani food and im from kashmir and lahore.
bro its easier to eat in a plate so you can press the roti against the plate to break off the chicken pieces. enjoying your content, thanks for the love

Thanks for the video Chris. Its Good to see you eating pak food. You really know how to make your pakistani customers happy. What I've noticed is people there are not as friendly as you find in pak and that curry was really pricey man. You can spend that a whole week here in pak.
You pinned it down. It's the atmosphere that adds to the taste. I took my GRE tests in India when I applied for higher studies in the US. The examination papers leaked twice for consecutive exams. Resultantly, although I took the tests, the scores were cancelled. I again took the GRE test in New York City when considering doctorate studies. I got my scores and moved on. But while the 'atmosphere' at the examination center in New Delhi was that of a fair with gaiety, chaos, crowds and attempts at cheating, in New York City it was businesslike and to the point, not unlike a funeral service. Life in the Indian subcontinent is about the process, not the result. Take it or leave it.
