Chad, I'm proud to see someone still driving cabover, a friend of mine Rod Schmidt owner of American Truck Parts in reitzville washington has a 1982 352 Peterbilt he's about to sell, this truck is all original and road ready shape, it has a fresh 400NTC with a 13spd, a 248" wheelbase. I just sold my double bunk flat top cabover Kenworth, I regret it now it was a 1976 with a 1693TA caterpillar motor and old school 13spd double ott and had the VIT interior, I bumped it up from 370 to 425 horsepower and that old truck looked new when I sold it glad to see you have the flat top.
If memory from working at a truck parts reman shop just out of high school is correct. RTOO14713A is a double overdrive, 1400 lb ft capacity, 7th generation, 13 speed, A is the ratio in the box. The difference between generations is inside. 6th generation had straight cut gears in the back half of the transmission, whereas the 7th has helical cut gears. Again, this is 15 years ago, so I might be wrong about some of that.
Hi, Chad, It is great to see you back on the road. "Frankenstein" is sounding very sweet. Nice job keep on making these great videos. This is a fan of yours from Dublin, Ireland.
Great video as always Chad Good to see Frankenstein's backup to snuff Looks like hes got a little wheel seal problem Which is no big deal If that's the only problem since you got him back you should be happy👍👍
Plugin in a semi block heater for 1 hour ( yes I heard Chad say was longer then 1 hour ) would not be long enough to heat the amount of coolant in a tractor trailer. A SBar or other diesel heater inline would have your temp to 110 deg which would be more effective
Thanks again Chad they have a TRANSMISSION for my mack I'll be back in the saddle again in no time really really really appreciate it bub. So what do you do in the winter? Work when you can I guess ha? Always best to be safe than sorry.
@@1ChadKeegan understand that man. Funny thing is I take off the hole winter save up to do so during the summer but this TRANSMISSION set back might have to run this winter thanks again bro. Oh wait unless I need beer money 😄😄😄😄👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ha ha ha cal sucks for trkers back in the 70 cal was cool now not cool u got cumalong or a cat motor in f trk? whatever just stay safe & bring it on in God bless from michael late
@@1ChadKeegan yeah, a lot of trucks sound like that. I've noticed Freightliners usually rattle a lot over bumps. I drove a few cab overs back in the day but pretty sure they were all spring ride. I've driven KW's 8 bag air ride in conventionals and prefer it over a lot of the 4 bags...

Good to see the old girl back and working 👍👍
Great content, it's always cool when a RUclipsr is driving through my old stomping grounds, I still live in Ohio just not NW Ohio(where I grew up).
You're Back!! And with just enough ambition to keep it going. Great stuff mate.
Wheel bearing and seal change video coming soon. Transmission seems to be breaking in OK. See what it is like this time in '03.
Congratulations you made it to the end!
Great video Chad, Good to see you out on the road!!!

Shiny new box full of gears ⚙ ...

That’s all I need is an hour for now, when it’s in the teens and negatives it goes for longer but an hour usually gives it what it needs
HI CHAD BRO! TRUC GOOD NICE--TRANSMICHINS IN TORC END SPID! PIS BRO.
I pulled my brothers truck out a ditch up near grand rapids several years back
That was rebuilt when you got it?
Motor sounds very smooth and strong!

Paint oil paintings when I have snow days or binge watch RUclips lol or other shows. I still run just not during the storms

The RTOO is a double over drive, should be a .73 OD on the high side
It is

ps stck 18 gear trans in ur ride u wont regret it . u have 377 driver gears?
4:33 gears and honestly I’m to lazy for a 18 speed transmission
Is Frankenstein so rough because of being on leaf springs or what?
😂 rough? Have you seen the blue trucks POV videos
@@1ChadKeegan yeah Frank looks like he rides pretty nice with a load on his back...much nicer than the blue truck
@@brucehodges7889 it’s like a Cadillac or a bareback horse. It may sound rough but every Cabover sounds like it’s gonna fall apart every bump you hit.
