Once you get a fresh coat of paint on and add your own personal touches, it will be just perfect! I definitely think the cloud room should be a walk-in wardrobe! I turned one of my extra bedrooms into my dressing room and it's one of my favorite rooms in my home! There's nothing better than having a place for everything and everything in its place... and you just can't do that without adequate storage solutions!! I can't wait to see everything... before, during and after the big move. I will thoroughly enjoy the process of seeing it become your wonderful new home!

Give those monsteras lots of light and don't overwater. Water only when the medium is almost dry, especially in the autumn and winter months. In spring and summer it will tolerate more water and will need an occasional misting. Happy plant parenting!

It's good your landlord lets you make modifications. Usually they can be a little funny about that. Unless you brought it. Then you can do what the hell you like lol!

I’ve seen other youtubers also make significant changes to their renter flats. I think because the cost of buying is so so high? And people tend to live in rentals a lot longer than they might in other areas. I don’t believe she bought it, not sure where the commenter above got that idea as at no point does she mention buying. There’s a big difference beteeen moving in with someone and buying a house with them and not many people would do the latter after only being together a few months. Not to mention, a place like this in London would cost >1mill pounds
@@JennyWas13 I lived in London for 7 years, in the same flat. My landlordord must have been a grouch. Also agree with the buying thing. We left London to buy a house. This place with a garden is like gold dust in London . £900,000+ to buy. easily.
@@JennyWas13 I rent for 20 years in London, none of my landlords NEVER ever agreed on me doing work / painting / putting frames etc. on walls . and all my friends living in London too (they were renting too) were in the same situation as me they could never decorate their flat / house not even aloud putting a frame up if you do and they find out you could lose deposit (thanks god for Strip Command ) . Now I bought my own house but not in London as too expensive. Your Aunt was lucky I guess.
Didn't he just move in December? How come he is moving to another new place, rather than you just moving to where he was? Contracts aren't usually that easy to get out of?
You can dust the high ceiling with the business end of a broom, or wrap a rag around the broomstick and get into the nooks and crannies. So happy for you and Joe!
