if you go to sabaton wiki that talks about the band and all the songs . this song is about a massacre in early 1992 to 1995 during Bosnian conflict.
I found that out through the community afterwards if I read on the song prior I wouldn't have the same reaction whether my knowledge was off 💯🤘🤘 I like to learn through you guys 😎

Most reactor avoid this song, cause of the lyrics. It gives me the chills and makes me sad that we as humans hasnt come further in the way we wiew etnicity and humanity.

Saddest part is that these events are endlessly denied by many people. The current leader of the serbian half of bosnia herzegovina (republika srpska) quite recently did it agian. Usually its arguing of wether or not it was genocide, but some outright deny it happened. Ethnic nationalism is a really powerfull drug, moreso than any opiod, it makes otherwise good men say the most evil things about their neighbours, and commit the worst crimes known to man. Its actually ex4raordinary how willing germany has been to admit to its crimes when you compare it to the wars in yugoslavia, japan in ww2, and the ottomans in the armenian genocide. I wish more people would react to this song, it took great courage for sabaton to make this song knowing a large amount of their fans especially in serbia would hate them for it.
The Holocaust was indeed something that should be taken seriously; I believe this songs' meaning is based on the Balkan wars of the 90's. Rock on!

This song is about the Serbian genocide of Bosnian Muslims, since at the time and still to this day Serbia has a hatred for muslim people mainly because of the Ottoman Empire, on how Ottoman Muslims enslaved the part of Europe until the 1800s when Serbia finally broke free, horrible thing to happen but there is a reason behind why it happened, it’s one of the worst genocides in Europe since the Holocaust
