Great to see the all-stars again over the summer!
In terms of England, I think the problem does rest on Southgate's shoulders. Any notion that Kane is a problem does not really watch the game tactically because the problem is that there is no drive up the middle. Occasionally, Declan will carry the ball through the middle, but it seems that the team always drift around the back or sides of the pitch, then go sideways or backwards.
Either Eze or Conor should start with Rice to drive through the middle, then get the ball to Kane straight ahead. No way TAA should play in the middle, but if he plays outside back, he could cross the ball like he does for Liverpool. Speaking of crosses, I know it's sort of old-skool, but crosses often creates chances and more so than tiki-taka. No matter which way you slice it, the team doesn't try hard enough to get the ball to Harry.
