I love the separate engine room, I am too old to be crawling around and trying to be a contortionist while doin maintenance.

How does a remodel work? If wanted to gut and remodel a boat that is seaworthy I would need to work with a marine architect. Obviously, canals and small rivers for narrow boats don’t come with the same challenges or the life and death consequences, but you still need proper balance and canals I’m sure are not without danger. So, is there a process you follow? If you replace similar for similar in the same places and go with fairly close weight would it be okay or is being a carpenter and house remodeler not enough?

Pity no wood burner. As for hydraulics, I had a 46ft steel ketch with hydraulic bow thruster, anchor windlass and generator. I hardly slept worrying what would happen if all that hot, high pressure hydraulic fluid failed.

Beautiful boat at an uncharacteristically reasonable price. A dinette would've sealed the deal.

Dinettes are hard to get into, hard to get out of, and not flexible space. Give me a fold away table every day of the week much more useable in small spaces.

@@elund408 Good points, well delivered but a permanent table would be a must for my work. Horses for courses, I guess.

I looked this over couple of weeks ago . Full size bath bit odd . As the presentation says probably for small children . For live aboard like me space put to better use otherwise .

So that your head is higher than your feet. Boats tend to be higher at the front, you would never sleep
