I'm at the stage where I'm feeling pretty good that I can play the melody to this tune in a couple different positions in the key of D, bluegrass style. I'm also trying to learn to walk a bit, so hearing Ray Brown's version of this is just great. I didn't' know he did this tune. You're playing is great and you're clearly having a great time! Inspiring stuff.
Sean, "Jesus Christ" is just wrong about the sound quality! What I'm hearing is a great transcription of Ray and his one of a kind sound, feel and swing. You capture him perfectly! Could you reveal the strings and bass you used? Bravo you killed it!

The bass is a 1950's Mittenwald plywood, its a wonderful instrument and I am blessed to play it. At the time of this recording I believe I was using the Piarstro Passione strings. Thanks again! In measures 3 and 7 there is an error. Bring the note closer to the major third, not the minor third.
