Watched these shows when I was a kid. I still watch to this day. So glad they are all on youtube. I was at Steve Smith's show in Des Moines, Iowa. It was "this could be it" tour,. Was great to see and it seems like that was it.
Not me. I'm a retired Broadcast Engineer who had to produce and direct newscasts in the '70s at an Army TV station. One of the control board operates was just as useless as Harold, and couldn't wok if he wasn't full of alcohol. When something quit working, he would come running, get in my face and say, "I know what's wrong. It's broken!" He wouldn't shut up, or get out of the way, because 'I'm black, I don't have to listen to you, cuzz you izzz raccciss!" I actually had to threaten to stab him with a hot soldering iron one day. He was so drunk that he could barely walk, as he came into the room drunk, and shouting orders. He refused to leave, and 'ordered' me to give him the soldering iron. He did a standing broad jump backwards, into a steel cabinet. He staggered out of the room, and went to try to file charges against me. They didn't stick.
Pat McCrotch nice reference. Loved those movies, & I don't feel old at all. What's weird is, I kno Keanu Reeves moved on to do a bunch more popular movies. Don't remember seeing the other guy since then.
There were a handful of characters on Red Green Show that I didn't care for and a handful that I loved. Dougie was wonderful at times. Seems like I remember his character getting better as they developed it more.. I loved Hap. loved Harold. Loved both animal control guys but liked Ed Fred best. No offence to Graham Greened but I did not like his character or the Buz Aldren guy. The crew that they began the shows with didn't work out. Probably more of a problem of character development than the actors fault
Michael Wall the two who were dropped after the first year weren’t developing beyond being obsessed with his boat and being paranoid of the never-coming end of the world and went as far as they could develop...the others at least had the chance to do more and develop but when the new ones proved more fruitful and actually drive the storyline others were dropped
Take it apart and rebuild it. A friend of mine had to retire from riding his Harley so he rebuilt it in his living room. Best centerpiece Ive seen yet.lol
In all seriousness, can a hole punched into glass actually isolate a crack? I feel like it would just make more of a crack if the crack reaches the hole, but it also sounds like one of those things that could be crazy enough to work.
That's a screeching possum. It's the Possum Lodge. Red's nickname is the Possum, you find that out later in the series. He drives a van painted like a possum.
@@jonhohensee3258 That's interesting because any person can search for screeching possum right here on YT and find any number of videos which have possums, doing that.

The Bible is schools question is interesting. His position appears to be that he really dislikes the Canadian school system and doesn't want to prop it up with any good books.... That was my interpretation anyways.
un852 my interpretation is he feels schools r'nt very fundamental anyway, so y add 2 the curriculum with 1 of the oldest forms of reading. R'nt gonna teach it correctly anyway, so y bother.

Thank you. You just gave me the best laugh I've had in a week.
Sorry to hear that.

On a mission to watch/like/comment on every Red Green episode. Keep your stick on the ice.
So glad to find this at last
"What did you do? Get caught speeding, run a red light or get in an accident?"
"Yep."
"Wow. You had a bad day."
LMAO
Lol I grew up with this show. Love it
I like Harold he makes me laugh, his interaction with Red is priceless🤣🤣

Excellent! Dougie Franklin, is Ian Thomas. Santana covered one of his songs called, Hold On.
Red's stories should be animated.

I saw Dougie Franklin in Meaford a few months ago. He was singing Ian Thomas songs.

One piece at a time
First, get the car up to 67 MPH...

One thing I appreciate about these early episodes is that they don't have that stupid animal noise that signals the start of the lodge meeting.

Rekwanze Bill and Ted's excellent adventure. They used a telephone booth.
