Is there a particular colour and brand of substrate that you would recommend buying, I'm also in England so would be able to source the same one if available, thanks in advance!
This is by far the best in the U.K. www.barlowsaquatics.co.uk/shop/B-D-Trading-Sand-p178239074. Feel free to join our Facebook group planetcorydoras or the website www.planetcorydoras.com
@@fishgeek Oh yeah I've seen that brand before but when I last looked they only had the 25kg bags and I only want a 5kg, I don't want to pay £34 for extra's that I wont need, thanks for the reply though, much appreciated!
Interesting video. However, I'd like to add one observational note about them interacting with some shrimp: it seems that they DO eat them! We had a half a dozen Bronze Corys (Aeneus) and some small Neon Tetras, a friend gave us about ten shrimp of various sizes, including a few small and couple of larger ones. Within about ten days to two weeks they were all gone. No sign at any stage of any carcasses, no empty shells, no floating bits, nothing. At first we thought they were good at hiding among the plants and stuff, but soon realised that they were all just 'food' and definitely all gone. C'est la vie!
Thanks for your comments! Shrimp can be very fussy with water conditions more likely the change in water caused their death. If a shrimp is dead the Cory will eat them, but never a live one.. I have 15 plus tanks each has corydoras and shrimp, in it. The shrimp breed so much I’m able to sell 50 a week.
Because of Planet Corydora, I now successfully keep 5 types now! Adore them!!
