I love it! I would love to hear what mushrooms you find in Hawaii! I’ve heard the big island has a decent variety out of the islands. And thank you for the lovely comment!

And the more you find the more you find and learn ~ Morels are magic to find and Lions Main is, Im just now learning through experance from the 30 pounds I was fortunat to get this year and have been eating small amounts every day and can feel the healing and cognigtive feeling for a good while ~ like with my coffee and toast and some yougart on a chocklate rice cake then a 3rd of a tspoon dehydreated lions main and it makes you, well feel some how feel enriched ~~ The Big island is calling me for sure and so to return with cooking ideas and fishing and hunting + the mushrooms !
Aw thank you so much!! Been a little slow with the uploads because Ive been working on so many home projects but Ive still got more content on deck to roll out! Thanks again for the support 😊
Those little guys are fast!! Awesome video, I've never even considered snorkeling in those rivers, guess I've got a new activity for the next trip! Great video! 🔥
Thanks Ken! Yeah Im not sure exactly what the right conditions are and where to look but you can give it a shot! Just make sure the water is clean so you dont get itchy! 😖But yeah, so much fun! Highly recommend!
Wow totally different from crayfish the prawns. I know Molokai get in the river just don't want to invite myself to go try without one braddah live that area. Nice that they invasive too so helping the local fish, etc.
@@BackcountryWahine We going next month. Trying to setup to go Halawa Valley need to get my buddy to connect up with his sister who lives in the valley
So if you follow this stream all the way down it connects to the ocean. The prawn larvae drifts out to the ocean, and then they make their way back up the streams through adulthood. Theres even a hawaiian fish that can climb waterfalls! Its pretty amazing 😍
Sorry :/ its my fams secret spot..but Im sure if you do some exploring you can find something! Or maybe try asking the guys at Tokunagas for some tips. I know they sell the prawn three prongs in there too so they probably have some info to share. Good luck!
I don't know about prawns, but I take Crawdads, and stick them in a bucket of salt water, and it makes them purge there digestive tracks before I cook them. I see you sucking out the head juice so you probably don't really care 🤣
Thats a cool tip! Did not know this! and yeah if its a deep fried shrimp I just eat the whoooole thing, head tail and all!😆 But I guess you can eat anything if you deep fry it...🤣
Hey really !! Whos yr cuz thats cool ! I am just catching on to coments on youtube and only just begining to realize I can chat with the cool folks I like to see here Only just now saw your reply

How do the prawns get that far up the stream past the water falls? I thought they came from the ocean?
