I’m over here LEARNING!!!! Speak that mother tongue y’all!!
I have a couple of coworkers who are Pakistani who speak their mother tongue to each other and it’s fascinating. I love learning about everyone’s culture and language.
Get well soon uzi 🥹
I absolutely loooooove Mulinde’s authenticity 😊❤! I am here for it!!!
Bro I’m Zim I remember my mum shouting at us for speaking English at home she hated it and that why I know my mother tongue including the Shona tribe we got take to school to learn the Shona language
Get well soon Uzi , great episode boys really enjoyed it 😂
Get well soon Uzi. Great episode. Really interesting convo about learning mother tongue. My parents "didn't want to spoil my English". Then shouting at me for not making the effort to learn their language.
I’ve always said for Luganda it’s harder to learn when your older if you are from the western world specifically America and Canada because we are not many here. We have no way of going back forth in conversation with anyone here. There are no tutors or teachers and no apps. It’s sad to say that if your parents are not willing to teach u the language will die in the western world. That’s why languages such as Punjabi, mandarin, Arabic, French, Swahili, etc will never die. See how the indigenous community is.
I live in Canada and there are tutors, teachers etc but pple don’t want to put in time. My sister’s children study Luganda on zoom every Saturday morning. My daughter will start once the school year closes. We have to fight for it if we think it’s worth it.
Lol @ Mesopotamia. That one was whacked into our heads in Cameroon.
Mulinde made great points about politics. It's really important for people to participate.
On the dilemma: the woman's mistake was to do it behind her husband's back. She should have persuaded him to go to his friend himself. Good friends should be able to help each other in time of need.
I needed uzi’s input on this episode 😩
Radio death affected the nation of Uganda my God. Also master blasta who made the song Embooko that was so horrible. Radio was going to put Uganda on the map in the western world.
Sokoto is the place (northern Nigeria), Shokoto means trousers
Amazing episode 👏
It's the deceit that's the issue.
Wait radio passes away, am speechlesss.
Get well soon UZI❤
Mad disappointed they didn't say Cadet
