Clarification: Plus does not have the Identity Wallet shown the video, that is only available with Kaspersky Premium (since I had both licenses, it retained the feature).
@@Dishings It's the same product as all the other kaspersky paid products just a different user interface and some new features added but the virus detection is the same.
The "Plus" is the successor of the KSC, the "Standard" is the successor of KIS and the "Basic" is the successor of KAV
A stupid AV product. After activating it few times the key no longer works, and it was paid for two years.
Where do you get your samples from?
Wasn't Kaspersky compromised by the Russian government several years ago? After something like that they can never be trusted again.

I use Kaspersky personally and I'll say that I agree with a lot of the things discussed. The only thing that I wish the AV had was support for browsers other than mainstream, like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. I used Opera GX and very few of the browser features are supported in it as far as I know.

The UI looks good and i like the dark mode, as of the tools, if they re good i might use the cleaner for example but I m not going to use the other tools I think.

Can you do a video about whether or not you can run NordVPN's threat protection alongside an anti-virus like Bitdefender? And from the description, Threat Protection sounds almost like an antivirus software by itself, even though they say it isn't. Can you go over the differences between that too?

Thank you for this video but I am still confused about the differences between new Kaspersky products line & old ones other than the UI changes & their website doesn't help much in explaining the differences in functions between new & old ones, I mean I currently use Kaspersky total security what are the differences between it and the new products, do they have same antivirus & anti malware engine or do the new ones have a new features that old Kaspersky total security doesn't have or did they remove any features that total security has form new ones ? I really wished that Kaspersky official website had answered these questions clearly but unfortunately they didn't but I hope that you could make a video explaining the difference between new Kaspersky products under standard or plus plans and old ones as total security other than new UI.

@@cypher0x089 Only if you opt-in. It makes you part of a mining pool and gives some of it to your wallet. But again, it's a feature that only enables if you create a wallet and opt-in to it.
People make it sound like they just sneakily shoved a crypto miner in there.
Leo, Can you kindly give some glimpses about its current detection rate ?
I think many AVs will possibly transition from Total or Maximum Security tiers, to Free, Esstential, Plus, Premium, and (I doubt it but) Premium Plus. I use Bitdefender and the UI is fine, but hopefully they redesign it maybe if not this year, hopefully next year.

Kaspersky - their product has a new version and user interface, I find it very interesting and like it, I am using Kaspersky small office security, manage more than 15 office computers, I feel good about it their products.

With resizing the Kaspersky's UI main window...did you try CTRL ALT delete? 💁♂️
I like it they did a good job. only thing i would add is the ability to control how dark the dark mode is!
So with this can you still control other PC's on your network via the web browser.

Thing about a VPN though, is that it allows that company to see your data during the decryption step on the other end, should they wish to.
Does the software update do driver updates as well?

Kaspersky Free, same platform as Kaspersky Plus, is also excellent, in pure malware protection it forgoes Intrusion Prevention and a dedicated Firewall, but all other modules are retained. In the last 4 months of use I've seen two pop-ups, one which was recently to notify of the dark mode update, so not even an advert!
Kaspersky Plus and other new versions are not out in India. Wondering when they will come up.

I was using kaspersky in the past (2010-2015) i was never disappointed it was always working well. Since win 10 i never used a av again. If this war would not happens and i would need a av. I would choose kaspersky again as first option.
If we are rally at war, AV wouldn’t matter… everyone would be vaporized. I’m stunned how so many people today don’t understand NATO obligations and the concept of Miutual Assured Destruction

I don't know about torrenting on their vpn because it's hotspot vpn last time I checked. but kaspersky it self is piracy friendly.

I don't know if they report you, but it's not like people are saying. I stopped using Kaspersky VPN because, suddenly, out of the blue, every time I tried to access RARBG, the internet to my computer was deactivated. Same with Skidrow Codex. With icon on the tray as if it was disconnected. I closed the browser and open again on other site and the connection was back on. I even remember reading in the forums, some guy asking for a refund on VPN subscription, because Kaspersky would allow him to access pirate sites. Unless things changed, that's my experience and what I saw.
Besides, I don't think it's the best idea to use security suite VPN to access pirate sires. I would choose to use a 3rd party one. I've used Express VPN and now I' trying Nord VPN. Which sucks on iOS but is good on Windows.

So, I have Kaspersky Internet Security right now. What is the difference between my product and this new Kaspersky Plus (I was looking at the Plus Premium product). Should I dump Internet Security and purchase the new Kasp Plus Premium ?

I am generally a Linux user but when I need to use Windows 11, Kaspersky is the best experience for me and the bundled VPN with KIS works out quite good.

Not yet available outside the US or Canada I see so for the moment these links are useless to me. Hopefully that will change soon.
Asked Kaspersky Europe sales teams and they told me that North America and Canada are indeed the first to get them and if all goes well it will be deployed worldwide later. Just keep an eye on their websites.
The real problem with the Plus comes as subscription not a standalone and every year it will be billed yearly
Indeed, and I should add... 1. You won't be notified of or given the typical 40%+ off, and more annoyingly and please note 2. The Kaspersky subscription cancellation process is a nightmare to navigate.

also, the device on my network often make you're pc run bad as it's scans so often looking up if a new device is connecting creating latency
I personally don't like the look and feel of it as much as you do, it's confusing sometime area of the app is not showing up entirely
and there is no slider to go left and right or resize usually right after you install windows as you're in a lower resolution.
I prefer by far the Kaspersky internet security from 2018 use it was so easy to use compared to this version!
I say was because they update mine without asking me to this new version.
Some great features sure but so intrusive I do like the fact that the VPN can be uninstall tho.

one positive note the overall performance of windows using this version Kaspersky premium seems lighter on resources and manage application is awesome.

i only dislike the price .. it is to much , and they don't provide a "1 pc" plan with low price something like ( *8 $ / year* ) or so .

Honestly, it's difficult for me now, I use the Kaspersky Free Antivirus and I am so happy that I don't need extra features.
I am a learning IT-Technician and I think having all this extra stuff sounds neat in practice but how many of them will I actually use, I am asking myself.
It's really cool and all but 46,99 € for two years and one device is pretty tough for me to decide... I need to give more thought into this.
Dude, search for key offers on eBay etc. You shouldn't need more than 7€ per year.

@@TheHobbitmann honeslty I prefer kaspersky, easier Ui, much more features, never had an issue, instead with bitdefender I couldn’t even log in my password manager because data in on their server (cloud) and not secured on my pc, with kaspersky I had possibility to encrypt a folder with aes 256 bit and monitor app using my network, much better product its not even close in my opinion concerning features, sadly this all Russia issue is not helping me, I woukd chose kaspersky without doubt without the Russia issue

Personally I think Kaspersky is up there with BitDefender in terms of protection.
Kaspersky is always quite a few steps ahead of everyone else.

Kaspersky is actually better for what I have experienced. Way more stable than bitdefender too

with all these different features kaspersky is adding, they might as well just add healthcare.
