St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral- Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

St Mary’s Cathedral is the mother church of the Diocese of Edinburgh in the Scottish Episcopal Church. We are part of the world-wide Anglican communion and thus have very close links with the Church of England, as well as our Presbyterian neighbours (the Church of Scotland).

Fun facts: the two spires at the front of the cathedral are called Barbara and Mary, named after the patrons who allowed it to be built and who are buried beneath them.
The windows at 04:40 are designed by Eduardo Paolozzi, an Edinburgh artist, who was considered one of the pioneers of the pop art movement.
