As someone from Botswana I can proudly tell you that we grew up with this kind of music. Our main radio station, Radio Botswana still plays this sort of music even today. It reminds me of radio personalities like Mogatusi Kwapa (retired) and Philip "Mokgankgara" Moshotle (passed away back in 1993). We still have Shombi, though.
Its reminds me of my late uncle armas shinana in the 90s im still listening to the sweets melodies u teach me, lov u,mahotella queens long live my queens 👸
Awesome ladies. Beautiful hits. Unforgettable moments. Please keep the beautiful country of South Africa the way it is. Focus on the future not backward. Inclusion is good not Exclusive.
Oooh it reminds me of my beloved late Mum, what a humble woman, rest in peace mokwena, wena kwena and ya metsi ga e je ka go gogoshela sa yone se tla ka ka marotlhodi a pula
You can hear a lot of good stuff in this vein using Radio Garden today -- zilipendwa tanzania is a good station, among many. Nemesoma kiswahili katika chuo kikuu New Orleans, na ninapenda African music!
Nice old classics. love them since years gone by. I am looking for a song called Peoloane (not very sure about the title). I don't know if it's done by The Queens or Dark City Sister. If anyone has it or knows where I can find it please let me know.

This song is killing me!!! I really like it... But, where are the Lyrics. I still like it though!!!!
Mogologolo not Magologolo. Magologolo can be an extension of the rather unsavoury Zulu word igolo.
Thanks for the upload anyways👊🏾
Magologolo could be ranges of mountains
