There are different levels of addiction. A friend of mine quit and it was like giving up nail biting. For me I'm like Keith Richards coming off heroine. Every cell in my body screams bloody murder. It's not three days of little annoying cravings. It's two weeks of holy hell. This information would have worked for him, not for me.
I've used the patch before and they work. They make it where I can at least white knuckle it through. I'm getting over the habit part while weening off the drug.
The most important thing to get is, once you get to the other side, you cannot have another one....not even one. That mistake is what's always blown it for me. You'll find yourself in situations to blow it. The first time for me was being at a club. A few beers and I thought it was okay to try one. The next time was being around coworkers who smoked, having a shitty day and saying 'what the hell. Give me one.' Protecting your quit on down the road is just as important as quitting but you never see anyone talk about that much. A year or two from now you find yourself in a shitty situation with a shitty attitude (and everybody does) ...and there goes your quit.

The most challenging nicotine withdrawl has to be the mood swings for me , I can say to myself don’t get mad it’s just the withdrawls but sure again I’ll end up getting upset over the smallest things and that was one of the reasons I couldn’t quit because I just hated myself during withdrawls !

Personally, the biggest trigger for cravings I experience is having my morning coffee. It had become such a daily ritual to have both.

Uff! I quit 9 days ago but couldn't quit the coffee. Its like I cant start my day... And my approach is very masochistic: I wanted to keep doing my triggers. I don't have the cravings but I feel terrible. Left in the past and it wasn't this difficult.

one time I remember I quit nicotine, and on about day 4 I woke up and had shivers I thought it was because it was cold but thinking back it was definitely a withdrawal. I’m starting today to try to change my view, that I don’t need it. I remember it feels like a chill but you’re not cold. The feeling really sucked. but I realized after this video If I went through it once I can do it again.

I’ve been a heavy vapor for the last 3-4 years.. I quit a week ago today, but my cravings are 1000% worse today than others.. I feel like I’ve been hit by an 18 wheeler and over heat and then sweat. This happens all day long until I finally fall asleep from the pain and get 3 hours of sleep before work. I’m trying the pouches but nothing seems to kill the intense pain I have through fatigue, shaky, and weak.. does it ever get better because if not I’m just going to go back this is bullshit and not worth it!

Hi and thanks for your video..
I must be odd or just have a very odd body, brain etc..
I have given up vaping now 6 times this year and Alhamdulilah on my seventh time, longest stretch for me day 45 MaashAllah tabarakAllah Allah humma barik.....
Here is my issue... day 1 -5 mild anxiety, but full of energy... feel strong
Day 5 -21 feel awesome, never felt better...
Then kicks in the worst Anger, wake up angry, and sleep angry.... try to keep our of the family way.. let's face it... its not the family fault I took up this poison..
And then anger continues like now I'm on day 45 and its anger combined with extreme fatigue sometimes....
I only start back because of this anger..... nothing else

@@AddictionMindset I'm really struggling with nicotine addiction. Is there any way I can contact you for expert advice? I'm completely dependent. My life is addiction at the moment and I don't see any way out. In theory it should be really easy to quit nicotine because it's not as if I enjoy smoking and I go to bed every night thinking "tomorrow is the day", what's the first thing I do in the morning? Cigarette and coffee. It's like I'm caught in a spiders web, every day is the same.

i know 90% sure this is withdrawal symptom coz after i start smoking again the palpitation gone ...
