Can't wait to release the full video you guys! Beautiful work as always. That morning light along that road was glorious. We nailed that timing and location.
Thank you so much! I've been in contact with Dehancer about a tutortial/breakdown. Hopefully that's coming soon! Anything specific about the color grade you'd like to learn more about?!
@@jordanadudek Thanks a lot! I’m struggling with how to do clean contrast and dense saturation. Your color is very dense and and clean, but my grade is sort of dirty, when I try to shift gain or gamma, other parts of the footage get “contaminated”. Would really love to know how you tackle these issues!
Hahah thank you man! Years of failure has at least led to something. Anything I can help you with tutorial wise? Would love to help and give back any way I could!
@@jordanadudek ooooh… I mean any color grading tutorial would be so awesome to see. But also it would be cool to see your pre production approach and how you prep for shoots!
You’re too kind! Thank you so much for this comment. I should be shooting a narrative short early next year. But would love to make something happen soon. What’s been your favorite film recently?
Thank you! I’m assuming you’d be using the lens more for video. The Tamron has been great for me, and has the ability to be linear focus, which is killer for manual pulls. I’d recommend it over the Sigma if you don’t need the 24mm wide end
Your stuff is amazing man! I just got dehancer out of curiosity. My footage is not looking right when I plug it in. Do you have a color space transformation before the dehancer node and feed it rec709 or do you pick the camera in the plug in. Thank you!
I normally pick the camera in Dehancer, but some cameras I’ll use a Phantom Lut conversion. I’ve found that using the FX6 conversion for the FX3 is better than the built in FX3 conversion 🤷🏻♂️
I believe I used a mixture of Fujifilm 3513 and Kodak 2383 Print Film Emulations. Most times, I'm satisfied with the Print Emulations, and don't have to add a Film emulation as well. That all depends on the scene though!
Were you using 1/4 or 1/8 BPM or just built in app for it as feel it was a bit to much which makes me think 1/4. I am buying 1/8 soon as feel 1/4 to much at times
Hey Chris! I was using a Glimmer Glass 1 for most of these shots. Most of the time, I was using the FX3 monitor, so it was hard to see some of the effects of the filter. I'm currently testing ways of not using a filter, and dialing it in through post. I think I'm liking the post-workflow more than the filter workflow
@@chrisjohnsonfilms Honestly, I've been getting away with the bloom and halation effects in Dehancer. Though Scatter does look promising. I'd need the right project for a purchase that large
@@jordanadudek nice. Yeah definitely Expensive. I bought filmbox and I'm just a hobbiest haha but I don't drink or do drugs and video my main hobby so I can justify it haha

It was a magical and crazy hot morning haha
always waiting for your next video, thanks for that!
Thank you so much for your support brother!
THIS IS AMAZING BRO. Such cinematic shots! Subbed.
Bro you are just so gooood!!! Keep it coming! I would love a color grade breakdown!
Thank you so much man! I think a color grade breakdown is overdue, I just have to muster up the courage 😂
The color grade is just another level! Would really love to see you do a tutorial on how to color grade some masterpieces like this! ❤

This is unreal bro 👊 thank you for sharing this masterpiece I found this video looking up this specific lens
I just love it. What ever lens you use it, i guess you are just talented and that is the reason why this video spectacular..😊
You’re an absolute beast. I want to get where you’re at not only with your cinematography and coloring, but also your story telling!

Wow, bravo. Enjoyed every second of this 👏
Love this! Would also love a breakdown of how you use Dehancer :)
Thank you for watching! I think a breakdown should be coming soon. I'm waiting on Dehancer for a few directions 👀
If you started making narrative short films or something- with your style- we’ll never need Hollywood again! Great images!
You’re too kind! Thank you so much for this comment. I should be shooting a narrative short early next year. But would love to make something happen soon.
What’s been your favorite film recently?
@@jordanadudek Awesome! The films I keep thinking about recently are “The Northman” and “You Were Never Really Here”. I love the style!
@@thereisawolf loved The Northman! I need to give the other one a try, as I haven’t heard of it yet! I do love the “surreal” look
@@jordanadudek it’s just an artistic take on an otherwise basic idea. I love the surreal look myself!
Love it man, so good. Always an instant click from me when I see you upload at this point.
This is incredible dude!!
Thank you as always man. Hope things are going well!
Beautiful work.
Thank you for watching! Glad this video reached you
Beautiful color grading as always!
Thank you! The sun helped us out quite a bit too!
This made me feel so much! Brilliant job Jordan:)

Amazing work! Love it!
Thank you as always 🥲
loved the color shots edit everything was beautiful, keep it up the good work! Love from India❤
Thank you so much Rishav! Glad this reached you 🥲
the textures are excellent
Thank you man! Dehancer's film grain is great
Amazing work man! Could you share your process for grading fx3 footage. I struggle to get mine to be cohesive across each shot
I should be doing a grading tutorial soon through Dehancer. I’ve also had issues with the FX3 in the past, but Dehancer has helped quite a bit
@@jordanadudek That would be so appreciated man! Currently my biggest struggle atm and I'm using dehancer as well but still cant get it right haha
This is unique bro. Amazing colors, congratulations!
Thank you brother! It's always good to hear your support 🥲
beautiful pictures, great job!
Thank you my friend!
This is sick
Beautiful! Love the 28-75, don't feel like I need the G Master right now. Did you shoot all of this internally or Pro Res to the Ninja V?
Wow these are amazing shots !! Can I ask tho, were there any filters that you put on the lens for some of the shots?
insane work
Thank you man! Sometimes it's good to let the camera roll even if it's not the shot you were initially wanting!
oh, this is excellent
Thank you for watching! 🥲
good one! some more inspiration for the running video ;)
Hahaha just giving you some more fuel 😂
Glad you watched!!
love it!
