- Many viewers have asked me to share my thoughts regarding how the everything bubble will affect Internet Computer. Will the bursting of the everything bubble be detrimental to ICP? In this episode, I take the chance to address this question as well as explain what the everything bubble is. More importantly, I provide instruction to the 8 year gang regarding steps we can take to make sure that ICP profit from this coming dollar collapse.

I recently went to a BTC meeting to ask about taxes, it was intro to BTC for beginners night. They did a presentation about Lighting Etc... small group of around 15 BTC maxi's, there was one gal there that I caught. When the meeting ended they all went into groups, she wasn't interested. I approached her and she said she only held ETH and that all the Alt coin members didn't show up since it was BTC night. I mentioned ICP she had no clue what it was, but was extremely interested. I haven't been back yet, but will go again. I don't think these BTC Maxi's are even aware of ckBTC or ICP. When the bullrun is in full swing, these meetings will ramp up to larger numbers. Hopefully I can introduce ICP and ckBTC, I think the BTC maxi's will gravitate to learn about ckBTC and hence learn about ICP as well, very much a grassroots approach. There's local BTC groups in almost every city.
Absolutely crucial! Spread the word because the only reason people are not into Internet Computer is that they are unknowing of what it is and what it can do.
@@quaziz This BTC meeting has been going on for years twice a month and I was hoping to learn more about ICP from them. Im an ICP enthusiast, I can barely keep up with everything ICP technical related, much less explain in detail, but I'll give it a go. 🙄
@@thorazine0076 I can relate. ICP concepts are complex and innovating in each step and way. Im a dev, writing canisters and all, and I still not grasp everything. The core (200+ PHd powered) team is way smarter than myself so it really takes time and effort to understand it all. That, in my opinion is an obsticle for adoption so far. People just buy in to Short lived narative, like AI without knowing what an AI token even is. There are no chain like ICP, but people doesn't comprehend it.

The core (200+ Phd powered) team are way smarter than myself and it really takes time and effort to learn. This is in my opinion a huge disadvantage for adoption of ICP. People really can't comprehend it. That's why it's also very important to educate, compare to other chains and write killer apps on chain, so that the adoption is organic and sustainable.
As more ICP gets locked away.. it may demand higher level projects to gain SNS funding.. especially with ONLY 2% on exchanges.
My idea: We obviously help each other out as a community in any way we can. From help with eg. tutorials, info to hands on help with staking or whatever, etc. But not least, building great apps on the chain to organically make it the best choice for everyone. Thanks for your great videos! 🧡
ICP should develop a smartphone that has user-friendly functionality. The ICP website, along with the NNS and many other dAPPs are difficult to maneuver when you have minimal experience or knowledge regarding this form of technology. If ICP even had its own app on Apple or Android even, I imagine it would become adopted at a faster rate.

I think in order to move ppl to buy chain key btc we first need to show the flaws of btc. Btc has lots of flaws all the way from it being flow to people calling it sus. by showing the flaws of btc and how chain key btc and icp are fully on chain this would be more attractive to the average consumer. we need to take into fact that if people are trying to sell their assets because of the US dollar, especially the older people, they would usually go with btc as it is the most familiar out there, so people have a sense of "trust" because they know what's btc and how familiar it is. so what should icp do? icp should increase there marketing and especially the marketing on the chain key btc so normal people would start to be familiar with it, the better they are familiar with icp the more chance when something bad happens they buy it. Why is being familiar with icp important? well simply it would get more users on icp but if we look at it from people who are selling their bonds because of war, if they already don't know about icp or crypto in general, do we really think they will spend time doing their research while being in an active war zone? Probably not.
I'm not sure if exposing alleged "flaws" is the right way. No one will listen. It's better to point out how ICP makes BTC better. That way you wrap it into something nice instead
@@quaziz you could definitely say that too, what i mean by exposing its flaws is to compare both of them. as humans we like to compare things should i buy this car or this car, this watch or this watch, this house or that house, we like to compare what we buy in order to know if what we are getting is the best option or at least the better option. so what i mean by exposing its flaws is simply comparing both of them
@@ahmedelshahawi I understand and agree with you somewhat. Though cars and watches are mostly bought by ones heart, instead of ones brain, but I understand what you mean :) I shouldn't try to compete with the OG coin though. I like to see more comparison vids that fairly compare all the most popular (alt) chains to ICP. And then, in the end of the video also state all the things ICP can do that the compared chain can't. One chain/token/coin per video. That's a winning concept in my opinion at least :)
@@quaziz i agree cars and watches aren’t like crypto but what i meant was the overall picture which is trying to pick something that’s the overall best hahahaha. more comparison between icp and other chains is definitely helpful, i mean after after all, icp is in every narrative so it would make sense for those comparisons

I think it's important not to compare with Bitcoin, that's my point. Bitcoin is Bitcoin, and one has to present how ICP can leverage Bitcoin instead of saying ICP is better. One will loose that argument any time. Bitcoin is Bitcoin :D

I would actually like to see that too. Though there are other chains that should be a priority to compare before that, as ICP is so, so much more and bigger than that.
