Lang has actually treated Eve very poorly, he threatened to kill her, threatened to kill Bjorn if she did not do as he wanted, wanted to kill Lando, Barry and Trey, he forced her to leave Nicolas Simone after he started beef with the Simones, forced her to choose between the Guild and Cerberus, abandoned her at the end of 3.0. These things did happen.
