- Hey guys, as a great RTS fan and competitive player, this game brings some amazing joy! If you enjoy games like Wargame or World in Conflict, then this game is for you. Personally, I can't wait! For me, this is an absolute banger so far.
*Reminder* This game is not out yet! What you can see in the video is a demo mission of the Alpha version and the game is in Work in Progress.

Seriously, so many RTS youtubers completly failed at this demo. Not even because of new mechanics, but basic tactics anyone who has played Wargame should be experienced with, this is the first video of this game that I'm not shouting at the screen in digust.

@@Strange-VikingI saw a bigger RUclipsr send nothing but support weapons teams off on their own alone on a flank in phase one and was aghast when they started getting Merced by a tank.
yeah even controlled pairs failed and hes like the ultimate ytber for tactics
it just gave a kind of "World At Conflict" feeling. It's a rare to see in these days.

Very good use of combined arms tactics, great job paying attention to units and deploying countermeasures or backing out when in trouble. Excited to see more of this from you when it releases.

I waited for a No Commentary video of the Broken Arrow Demo for so long, and you delivered. Not just in not talking any any point during the Demo, but as many others said before, by actually using the units and their capabilities very well, something I only saw on the Dev Demo video from months ago

@@sailorYT Actually, I can't even get past the Menu with my current laptop. Not only did it lagged, it also closed down by itself, and caused my laptop some issues that I had to fix. Given that my laptop was just a laptop for work, I should have seen this coming. I should hopefully be able to get a new and actual gaming laptop by the time the game is released.

Honestly, I feel like aircraft popping flares should be an automatic process not restricted to a toggle, as it is in Red Dragon. Even if you aimed for minimal losses I still feel like that first F/A-18 would have gotten blapped every time.

I have the feeling that this game will be one of the best if not the best of it’s category. To me It felt a bit more strategic than wargames or warno but not as much as combat mission. Also loved the voice lines of the units!

the forcon marines dialog is pretty badass to be honest, hope the russki side gets equally cool dialog

bruh when i tried this mission 4 times i just would keep getting full wipes from getting spotted so fast lol dont know how you manage not getting spotted to get the drop
What's the solution to downed aircrew in the water like that, sending transport helos or amphibious units to get them out? I'm sure they're mostly fine hanging out in a life raft watching the fighting happen otherwise.
you could get a helo to save them and let it rtb for a juicy refund.
@@xTwixix Sounds like a pretty good logistics loop, just have your transport helo pick up the downed pilot on their way out of the AO and get both the helo and the pilot refunded.
Just a heads up, be sure you read the NDA before posting Broken Arrow without permission of the devs, can result in legal issues and very likely removal of the beta program.

nice, i lost all my troops to the first tank and i couldn't figure out how to spawn in more so i stopped lol
Well I took it slow at the beginning to showcase all the assets a bit, hope that helped for the future in case you give it another try when the game releases or launches another trial :)
and i also want to have a run with 0 losses ... mission impossible.
Any way to turn off the swearing of the units.. or just make them silent?

also when u defend fort i think would be great to put some1 in left house so they cant flank you on hill.
I agree and i think theres was a lack of supply. Some marines for example didnt have any AT rounds when he went for the fort. And the massive blob inside the skyscraper while defending was maybe overkill. Otherwise great use of all Units and tactics. Have a sub.

Health bars over vehicles?? Seriously? :( a 10-years old Combat mission game got rid of this arcade crap long time ago

Programming isn't easy and also having to have a lot of those units and all that data going through can strain performance plus it's very micro managing rn so Idk if that's the best mechanics for the game
Idk what most of these comments are coping about. Your vehicle spacing is trash and you clump things up. Someone praised you for combined arms but I dont think they or you fully understand what that is. Combined arms would have been having the AAVs or LAVs moving to cover/Assist your infantry in the first part. You lump both of your AA LAVs up and lose one to a rocket barrage. Spread them TF out.
Well not all of his tactics were bad I mean he couldn't have known about the missile barrage in time to move his lav and yeah he should have spaced his vehicles out more when transporting troops back and forth and yes he could hide his lav in cover to support other infantry at close ranges. However him destroying the enemy with fire power and maneuvering was pretty good. But combine arms is a thing of the past it's more about integrated arms warfare with many systems interlinked.
the infantry gameplay isn't ideal, there is no stealth mechanic, they die too quickly inside buildings and don't seem to have a spacing option while moving
for me, ideal infantry gameplay should be about being easy to kill but hard to find and even harder to confirm if they are really dead
