I’ll say this Robb lost the war by not telling Edmure (a lord paramount) lost him the war you can’t expect people to follow a plan they never heard off (plus edmure is the one of the only lords doing his duty and taking care of his small folk)
One of the things that ticked me off is the fact that Ned knew it was the Lannisters doing all of the killing yet told Cersie he was gonna tell on them when Robert gets back. That was so stupid. Anyone with half a wit would have waited on Robert and told. Dunno but it ticked me off.
that's one of the conceits of the character. He's *SO* honorable and has so much integrity, that he makes decisions that are directly against his interests because he believes it's the honorable thing to do.
As much as love Robb, he takes most of the responsibility for this. He should have explained his plan to Edmure. Tywin wouldn't have been able to link up with the tyrells who would have stayed neutral. Stannis would have taken Kings Landing, and Robbs' plan would have worked perfectly. After that, however, Tywin still has a large host, and the knight of flowers would still hate Stannis. If they link up after that Tywin could probably over throw stannis and Robb stark through battle after that. But at that point, I think with a defeat so crushing as that there's a good chance all of his men would abandon him. This is why we need a what if tv show.
Edmure Tully, The Blackfish, his own mother. There's a list a mile long of his bannermen who cost him the War, his crown along with his head. And the key mistakes that cost Robb dearly were made by members of house Tully, _His mother's house_
Edmure Tully > King Robb He really should have told his uncle the actual plan “If instructions were clear, then the fault lies with the lieutenant. If instructions were unclear, then the fault lies with the commander” Sun Tzu

44:40 it’s not that hard to keep up with which characters are which in the GoT series, let alone ANY other tv show/movie. While I’m fine with the series and the whole making the Velaryons black, I still know it was a DEI decision. They even failed in that because they completely got rid of the character Nettles, whom, if I’m not mistaken and everything I read and seen, is black in the book. So, they made characters a different race when they weren’t a different race in the books and they cut out a black character altogether! Makes sense, right?!?! If they must do it, I wish that ‘they’ would create stories or use stories that already have different races in them to begin with, instead of changing stories that are already written just to fit their political agendas!!! It would be like making a film that is revered in the black community, but use white characters in it, say like the movie Friday, or something. People would flip shit! And as well as they should! I’d be pissed too!
48:44 Bukkaked Cercei is more frightening in that picture than any scary movie , jesus christ wtf is that picture, anyways greetings from argentina PD one thing your forgot to mention as scary/disturbing from the books is that town north of the wall that grew up to be the only city north of the wall ,to be completely destroyed in one night and the people that travels close to that city sometimes hears screams and disturbing things near the ruins of the city/town
If Viserys had taken both Aerea Martell and Margaery Tyrell to wife in the name of Aegon the conqueror on some boss shit he would have had at the least sired a few children before he was overthrown🤷🏽♀️
When you said lancel was underage with cersei he wasnt. Gotta stop putting our laws and rules on them. It would be normal for most girls, younger than him, to be in those situations.
55:14 - yeah..."pasty" means white, like paste. Oddball pronunciations that native English speakers wouldn't say make me wonder just how much creators are training AI to mimic their own voice, and read scripts automatically. With as much 'underage relations' that the book series has, I would be afraid to look at GRRM's hard drive(s). But, young marriage was pretty common throughout history, and even in the USA just a few hundred years ago, it was common for girls as young as 14-15 to be married and having kids. These days we know more about the human mind and the impacts of this, thankfully. But, the radical political left is trying to destigmatize it anyway.

Robb didnt even tell Edmure that he was going to keep Tywin so why did he expect Edmure to know?
