No, I used the same camera and settings. Perhaps I was standing a little closer to the lights in my bathroom which may account for the additional sheen on my skin, but the conditions in the room were largely the same as the before photos.
I like mine a lot. I don't use it every week because for me, I find that once every 3-4 weeks achieves the look and results that I'm satisfied with. In general, all dermabrasion treatments, whether you go with ultrasonic, motorized brush, manual scrubs, or professional spa treatments, you don't want to overdo it and strain your skin as this can lead to weakening of the skin's resiliency over time. Keep in mind that you should consider *all types of dermabrasion treatments* as one and the same when determining frequency of use.
hello, I like your video. I purchased also a spatula. Now I a reading the instructions and in the nourishing mode it says: use your favourite skin care product (serum/cram/eye-serum) if it is suitable for use with ultrasound. Do you know which products are suitable? can I use my day or night cream with it? Or a gel mask? Wha would you recommend? Thank you in advance!!!
Some serums are fast absorbing so they aren't suitable because your skin needs to be wet/moist to use the spatula. I recommend a light moisturizer, your day or night cream should be fine. A gel mask may dry too quickly. In general you may end up using a little bit more product than normal.
Thank you for your fast answer. i realised yesterday with my hydrating gel that I needed to apply much more as usual but that is good if my skin needs it :-) I would love to try so much again but better wait. In the manual it says in the beginnings only a few minutes once a week. later as my skin gets used to it I may go up to 2-3 times a week. looking forward. thanks K.

ReviewedByPhil Thanks for your reply. I should have been more detailed in my question. I was wondering if there was a delay in the indicator lighting up for the first full charge. I was able to find my answer. Thanks for the detailed review it was very helpful.
No, the ion+ and ion- mode don't have a noticeable vibration. In fact there's almost no indication that the unit is even on other than a slight warming of the spatula as you move it across your skin. I use the product about once a month to scrub in the vibrate mode when I start to notice my skin looking a bit "tired." I think the results are really nice and my skin does feel smoother the next day and for a while afterwards. I use the penetration (ion-) mode about once a week for deep moisturization.
What products do you use besides this one? I have many pronounced blackheads and am damaging my skin trying to manually remove them.... is this product going to really get rid of blackheads?
I like to use a facial steamer prior to any kind of pore extraction or dermabrasion. This will help to relax and open up your pores so that they are more flexible and release their dirt and oils with less damage to the skin. When used properly the ultrasonic scrubber can be effective for removing blackheads. Keep in mind, that doing it yourself at home you may not achieve as good results as a skin care professional might using the same tool.
Hello, my device was just delivered today & I felt nothing using the EMS mode, making sure I was holding the device correctly. I have used many other EMS devices & you can at least feel something like fluttering in the skin, if not actually being able to see the muscles lifting. Was your experience the same using the EMS mode? I really don't want to have to return it. Many thanks. 🦘🇦🇺🐨
In EMS mode, make sure your hand/fingers are touching both sides of the device where the metal contacts are running along the side. This is necessary to generate the electrical current. See if that makes any difference?
While I haven't used the LaBelle brand myself, it looks to do the same exact thing, though it seems to be a bit pricier. There are several version of the LaBelle scrubber and they are current on gen 5, the L5. It's unclear from the product listings whether or not it was wireless charging though, like the CosBeauty scrubber, a feature that I really like. It just makes maintenance easier since it's also a nice little stand for the unit and you don't have to deal with any tiny ports or plugs.
Thanks for this quick and easy tutorial. I have had this product for a while. The instructions was in a language I couldn't read. Now I understand how to use all the functions correctly :D
I like the Cosbeauty one a little better. It's fully waterproof and charges wirelessly in the base. The Kinga one you can't get wet fully, and I don't think the buttons are sealed. In terms of performance, they function about the same. The results, I think are the same which I was happy with.
I have one question. When You just bought it, how many hours You had to wait for it to charge? I've been waiting almost a day and still don't see the blue light. 😱
When charging in the base, my unit has an LED light that flashes red on the device itself (not the charging base, see 0:21). When the battery is full the LED stops flashing. My unit takes about 4-5 hours to charge when it is completely drained. Are you able to turn the unit on? If it's been charging for a long time it's probably fine.

The results were similar, but I "felt" more going on, on my skin, with the Kinga brand especially in the ion absorption modes. The only downside is it doesn't have the wireless charging so isn't fully waterproof, but it still works great. There's also the Kingdomcares brand which is a clone product: geni.us/5Oe2 [Amazon Affiliate Product Link]

Hi I bought a similar one to this and I really feel like I got played 😭 lol it’s my fault really. Am I not supposed to feel vibration and hear a vibration noise while I use it ?
In scrubbing mode you should definitely see/feel it vibrating. In the product penetration mode it will not vibrate or make a sound because this mode is only creating charged ions, and it does not need to physically vibrate to do so.
Actually, if you're making the choice between Kinga and Kingdomcares, both these products are produced by the same manufacturer and simply branded differently, so both choices are roughly equivalent. I have used the Kinga brand scrubber and think it works well, although it is not fully waterproof. If you want a fully waterproof model like the CosBeauty model in this video, you can go with Rika or Ashiee which may be slightly cheaper on Amazon: geni.us/HTovTvX [ Amazon Affiliate Product Link]
I like the Cosbeauty one a little better because it's fully waterproof and charges wirelessly in the base. The Kinga one you can't get the body wet because the plug is on the bottom, and I don't think the buttons are sealed. In terms of performance, they function about the same. I noticed a slight difference in the pulsating ion mode with the Kinga device because it clicks audibly whereas the Cosbeauty is basically silent in those mode. I'm not sure if that means the power is higher/more effective in the Kinga model, but with product penetration it's hard to judge "effectiveness" anyway. The results, I think are the same which I was happy with.
Thank you Phil for the comparison to the Kinga one. It's hard to find the differences when you compare the scrubbers on Amazon. They all seem to be the same. I read also that some of the aestheticians in salons use and prefer the Cosbeauty one. The Kinga is about half the price of the Cosbeauty on Amazon, but I think I will go with the Cosbeauty.
hi, I think your video was so useful, but I bought a similar one, different but changes mode when you click the vol button. there's 4 functions. H, Z, L and a function which looks like a wave. so far I've only figured out the h means high mode and its for pore extraction which I do, at the moment I can not work out what the other functions are used for. on other similar manuals I've seen on Amazon, the L means low mode, the wave is the pulse and the Z is the anion, but do not know what they are used for. the manual instructions which came with the product are useless, can you please help, thanks. j kaur.
Based on your description here's my take: High and low are for facial peels (H and L) 1:08. That is, they both vibrate at high speeds to scrape up the top layer of dead skin cells, sweat, oil, and dirt. The anion mode (Z) is for product penetration like moisturizers, creams, and other topical skin treatments. You apply the product in a thin layer first, then use the flat side of the spatula to gently sweep over the product encouraging deep penetration and absorption into your skin (2:19). The wave mode is pulse mode for pore extractions (2:07). I hope this helps!
Teri Merry No, you won't hear/see it vibrate. To me the tip just feels a bit warm; typically these spatulas send short bursts/pulses in this mode so it almost seems like it's not on.
Yes. The one month recommendation is for the ultrasonic abrasion modes (peel and unclogging pores), for the ion +/- modes for product penetration and skin lifting, you can safely use those modes daily.
On the ion + mode, I noticed you had a visible spray while cleansing the blackheads, just like on the exfoliation setting-am I right? I ordered one and mine doesn’t do that. Let me know please so that I know whether to send it back or not.
Yes, that is how mine functions. For the ion modes, you have to make sure your hand holding the device is touching both the metal side plates to generate a current for the ions to flow through your skin. I've heard that Cosbeauty has since launched a newer model of the spatula with different settings called 'W moist' and 'W lift' which are Ion- and EMS mode respectively. Neither of these modes will generate a mist (Ion+ mode has been eliminated on the new model).
Sure, I think they both preform very similar functions in terms of microdermabrasion, removing dead skin cells, and sloughing away dirt and debris from your pores. I do think the ultrasonic spatula does a better job getting deeper into pores and is less rough on your skin, but you do need to make sure to keep your face wet and not go over areas more than once. I think preference wise it'll come down to whether or not you think one provides better results than the other.
