This movie _could_ have been a good opportunity- rather than go with the same cliches, over & over again - to show things like the complexities of the politics & society within Roman Britain- between the Romans & the Britons, & between Romanised Britons, but no... go with bs 'Romans don't respect women leaders' 'chosen one' fantasy- despite the fact there was a historical Briton Queen, Cartimandua/ Castimandua of the Brigantes, who was a Roman ally- & they even helped *_return_* her to power, after she was ousted- & make the treachery of Decanius all part of some stupid prophecy, rather than what it appears to have been: one man's opportunistic greed & stupidity while his boss was away. I think there's naturally room for the Celtic religion & mysticism within such a story, but not like this- it comes off as cheap & farcical. Also- there's the very uncomfortable, but very real facet of Boudiccea's rebellion- that she didn't just kill Romans when she destroyed those three settlements, but also innocent Romanised Britons- some of whom did nothing more than continue to make a life that they had for decades before this point (she was apparently cruelest to British women who married Roman veterans or settlers)- despite the fact that her husband, Prasutaeg (Latinised as Prasutagus) & his tribe were Romanised Britons, too. Reading her story, I just felt the saying, 'when you fight monsters, be wary of becoming one', was so apropos. What happened to her & her daughters & their relations was very sad- but the disproportionate retribution went both ways, & innocent people were harmed on both sides. It _could_ have been a much more powerful movie than what it was, but like most of the other iterations before it- all just screams 'lost opportunity'...

Cool movie the the final battle was set up completely wrong.
This is my favorite channel. The movie summaries are wonderful, so I dream that my channel will reach this level of beauty and professionalism. My dream is to receive support from this channel, which I love, and for my channel to have followers.

This movie is inaccurate...
Why the narrator say self delete instead of Suicide. Is this a new dumb term to avoid getting canceled.
Word "suicidе" is RUclips algorithm negative trigger
😂

Britbong power fantasy
She makes warrior films while in reality is SILENT on the war in her native country Ukraine.
Sadly, this movie was really panned in his country
Because its wildly inaccurate. Most of the things they showed didnt really happen lol Its like making a movie about Napoleon and showing he died in a glorious battle rather than the truth, a stomach ulcer.
suiiiiiii
what bullshit of a movie
ROLLO
Looks terrible, but any movie thst portrays the Romans as the imperialist scum they were is good in my eyes
lol to be fsir everyone in that period was scum. Even the Brits treated the scots like slaves
oh no those evil imperialists, they only brought law, infrastructure, wealth, medicine and safety
any movies portraying romans as the one they are not are trashes
the goods that Rome brought to this world out weight the fact that they were Imperialists
They weren’t good, but it’s like any other empire history. They killed a lot of people and collapsed in the end.
6#
The movie is like random Canadians and some desperate Australians suddenly together rebel against US and Biden suicide himself because there are a lot of people protesting against Israel.
