Agree with Apocalypse as a great X-men villain, but top 2 MCU. He's definitely top-tier, but what Doctor Doom did in Secret Wars was like Age of Apocalypse taken to an even greater level.
I love this expansion even more than the infinity gauntlet because all the fight is very unique and dynamic. Points for innovation. Still is easier to win this than againts Thanos.
Marvel United seems to be a fairly popular and easiy to learn game. That's why I wonder, why CMON chose not to release the expansions are retail. Very strange.
@@VaultBoy13 You'd think that, but for the original campaign at least, it was not announced until after the campaign that they would not be released at retail. There were some items marked as "KS exclusive" but not most of them.
All the non KS exclusive boxes will be at retail soon, you can find now some stores where you can pre-order them. There are some threads at the BGG about it.
Seems like a fun box, all the minis are cool. I ended up passing on this one, I didn't feel like I needed more villains but I would like to try fighting Apocalypse.
@@maxfaf259 I had the same thought, but once I decided to really check the game I actually started to like the style for the game. Of course I prefer the original dtyle, but you get used to it and most characters still look very cool. Give it a try!

Enjoy the review! Dislike that these Marvel United boxes aren't available unless I shell out big bucks for a used set.

Hope these boxes will make retail. I dont want all of that.

Just leaning on FOMO for with the fanbase by making the retail content uncertain.

5:48 the music for "Game Components" is playing twice (and it should be 'Final Thoughts')
Just played this for the first time last night. We loved the challenge.
Has anyone played this in solo mode? It seems next to impossible to accomplish it without a single KO.
Were chapters not added to this video?
5:48 THE REMIX!!

AoA FtW. Well... lose, I guess... it's a paradoxical universe the very existence of which triggered the M'Kraan crystal to destroy all of reality...
Hopefully we’ll see AoA, it’s my favorite X-Men crossover. This is from “the Fall of the Mutants” in the late 80s.
@@diversonArchitect Lucky you!
Currently in the comics Marvel Universe the XMen are completely different than the classic version, and I love it!
First
God! The art style looks childish and...well...straight ugly.
Its chibi style art. Same as the marvel united ones.
@@22gjreyes Yeah, but I think it does not fit the Marvel characters/Universe. 🤷♂️
Thousands and thousands of people spent millions of dollars saying otherwise.
