I think branches of ICAI should provide facility to underprivileged students to watch these lectures without any fee in IT labs, like after ITT training time is over

❌dont watch it with speed. otherwise the 40 hours' requirement wont get completed. As i am seeing, the course itself is of 40 hours approx when watched in normal speed.
@@Drashti. Yes. I opened the video which was not marked complete in chrome. It had option to resume from where left, came at approx half duration. So it means increasing speed will not work.

You can speed up with chrome extension. Search "video speed controller" extension.
And a fun story. I have grown beards but my ICAI registration photo doesn't have beards. So website can't smoothly match my face. 😂😂

Exactly, even i feel the same. Open book has to be removed and law and scmpe to me made offline.
I almost completed a 40 min video and got kicked out due to face not match error it started from the beginning 😬😬 took me total 2 hrs to complete the 40 min video
It took me 2 days to complete a 3hrs topic.. why? Because of their world class portal jo chalta kam hau aur rukta zyada hai

Sir my concern to ICAI is that
1. sir not every student has a laptop... And
2. sir also lecture needs internet speed of minimum 2 Mbps speed then it's possible only in router not in mobile hotspot.
Aagar koi student ke pass laptop mahi hai to kya 4000 ke stipend mai se laptop lega pehle... Many offices do not allow articles for personal use of office devices or do not have a webcam facility then what the students do. This step is not in favour of below average students.
Kindly support students sir. We have faith in faculties like you only.

I absolutely agree with you. As per our data, 68% students watch our lectures on phone. I guess icai should introduce feature to watch it in phone as well.

Hi Guys, a small UPDATE:
1. The website is opening in the Mobile.
2. To set the front camera, Once you open the video lecture, immediately click on the 🔁 icon in the top right corner where camera view is displayed.
3. ALSO VERY IMP - SMILE 🙂 WHILE IT IS DETECTING YOUR FACE. OTHERWISE IT IS NOT DETECTING.

It would be nice if you made a video addressing the issue regarding new SPOM announcement by Institute. Like the site is crashing everytime.... Nov 24 exam is close and they want students to spend 80hr. on their site watching lecture. Due to such issue I had contacted my branch chairman and he told me to mail the issue to him and all others who were facing this issue had also mailed him, yesterday I received the call from them that issue has been taken up by council and also told me that tell other branch students to raise these issues in their respective branches

What about students who give inter exam in may 24 and write finals in nov 24??? They can see only after getting registered to finals... Then when will be results announced ?? How to manage all these together along with finals exam in nov 24 .. that to advanced ITT need to be completed before exam 😢

first of all u cant write in nov 24 if u write your inter in ma24, 6mnths before your attempt u need to register final for attempt....which means u can write in may 25 , you have so much time..enjoy bro

I started watching Leactures of spom 1 law
Ma'am not even teaching concepts
Just reading the notes
Nd sometimes wrong Statement taught
Example in one case study concluded that DPIN can not use as DIN
and it is wrong
Sir it will be very tough if we finish 40 hours now and if there is exam after 3 months than again have to study for it
Face detection is not working properly. I tried 7 to 8 times and finally I got a match. While watching the video, the video closed automatically saying that face is not matching. Somehow finished one video and the dashboard is saying "in progress".
It checks face detection every 10 minutes, if it closes you lose 1-2 minutes, so again watch and resume. I watched full 30 minutes, site stopped working, when I opened again it showed 29/30 watched.
Sir please make clarification regarding may 24 students who had already cleared group 2
And only 1 paper of spom i.e Law
Sir ICAI has removed face detection while watching SPOM lectures...
There are now no issues for the matching face i have turned off my camera still the lecture started.....

Means clear face dikhega cameras mai tabhi video start ho raha hai.. otherwise error aa rahi hai... matlab khud ko hi dekhna padega...

It is just hit and trial. 1 hour kuch nhi hua, fir ek saath 4 videos chal gyi. I checked all settings for camera, webcam, drivers, browser, site. Sab theek hai fir bhi apne mann se chalti hai site

Sir we are facing a lot of problem in that training firstly it is unable to detect face and secondly site is not working properly . What to do?
Major problems -
-No speed increase option if accessed via Google Chrome login ( don't know about safari .
-no bifurcation regarding the students who just have to give either of the above either A that is law or B that is cost .
Only English language is used and mostly ppt is just read out loud no proper explanation. So have to do it on your own again .

On my dashboard both law and scmpe classes are showing( 0 lectures completed) but i have cleared grp2 in nov 23 so i have to complete both subject lectures and pass exam of both or just law ? Anyone please clarify🙋 Only law lectures should be showing on my dashboard but both are showing? Why?

Sir I cleared Group 1 IPCC in Nov 2018 (Subjects comprising of Accounting, Business Law Ethics and Communication, Cost Accounting and FM and Taxation)
Cleared Group 2 in May 2023 (Subjects comprising of Advanced Accounting, Auditing and EIS & SM.) FM & Economics exemption was given by ICAI as I Passed FM in 1st group.
Registered for CA Final in August 2023.
Not appeared in CA Final May 2024.
WHETHER SET C AND D ARE EXEMPT?
Please clarify.
ICAI bluffing students very badliy asking spom content in paper 6 then why made it online, they only pretend to improvise but only downgrading...

Sir I'm a final student who has cleared IPCC (7 papers) and I had registered in old course (the recent course) and converted to new syllabus (current one) to appear for May 2024 exam(First attempt). Kindly clarify if Set C and D is exempt for the students belonging to my category.

I just had a small query that for students who have not registered for final , can they also start with the self pace classes of icai ?
Or it is necessary that student should first register for CA Final then only he/she becomes eligible for self pace classes provided by ICAI ?

To me these classes seems to be robotic. They are just reading out what was written, they have no intention to make student understand it.
It took me approx. 50 min. to complete a 30 min. video because in between the class kept on closing due to my face does not match with SSP portal pic, although they have verified my face prior to the start of the class. I think this is the major issue.
Facing the same issue, they're just reading out the PPT and frequently forget the provisions in between. They don't seem to be professional teachers. The video keeps closing every 10 - 15 mins due to face mismatch issue. Going to be complete waste of 80 hours or may be even more, since we'll have to refer other videos too to understand the provisions.

Hello Sir, the videos do not have feature to increase the speed, Directors chapter had the feature, I used it but then when I started other chapters the feature is no more available, as few lectures are slow, we should have the option to increase the speed, so that our time can be saved...

No exams center till today....for spom...n nov 24 students needs to passs exam before last date of exam form....its not easy to allot permanent center in india within 2 months... till today not a single center for spom is approved by icai...even in many cities there are no bidders for it....what a scheme n arrangement? As per info only big metros like delhi mumbai kolkata have centers n student needs to travel to these cities for exams...
Yes.. Chances are high that students of Nov 2024 will be given chance to qualify SPOMs after Nov 2024..just like they've given for May 2024....Let's wait for the official notification.

You can take exemption in either of Set C or D , as per your wish
If you appeared for Final in old till november, both exempt. Otherwise any one is exempt i think
If you are a final student as on nov 23, set c and d are exempted

Logout and login again. Sometimes issue is because it checks for 3-4 seconds but camera turns on after 5 seconds
