I was first introduced to this song through my sister and I remember listening to it as I tried to sleep through those nights filled with insomnia, this song playing on her playlist every night as I stared at the lamp that lit up the corner of our dark room. Some months ago, I wrote the "tell us the reason youth is wasted on the young. . .but are we all lost stars?" down on the last piece of paper of one of my most memory-filled journals. While I wrote it, the sun started rising. I took a picture of it, thinking it looked cute, and saved it as my screensaver. That day just so happened to be the day I lost someone, and hope along with it. Now everytime I go into my phone I feel a bittersweet feeling of love. Not important, just thought I'd write this down.
one day I wrote a letter to myself that said "no matter what you make people happy." my whole family signed it including my dad. my dad committed suicide months later but the note stays in my room serving as a reminder that he loves me.
