This is the best time in 56 years. Good luck to the women's team too. I want to watch them on the TV next season when they hit the big time.

It would be good to get a few more out. In terms of the right side I would love Brian Mbeumo as he can play on the right or through the centre. Nico Gonzales would be my next choice as he too can play both positions. I suspect Gonzales more likely as Mbeumo would probably be £60m as against about half that for Gonzales.

Those two lads may not have gotten the team anyway, mark will start every game. Let’s give credit to the club if they pull that off. I think we need a star name in RW personally or just someone good instead of a body. We can’t honestly think we can win the league and then play Europe with our current RW options. Also Osula is a striker and can play down the left, we are so heavy on the left and weak down the right, it’s like we’re obsessed with left sided players…
You don't have to do your medical at the training ground or SJP. Osula could be doing his medical literally anywhere. Our medical staff just have to travel to him. It's happened before.
I'd be absolutely buzzing to leave the window at just guehi and osula as that RW role as never really worried me because Murphy is a class player but what I don't understand is why we've never considered playing Barnes and Gordon on either although they are both LW surely they can do a job and wouldn't make much difference to play one of them on the right?
I think guehi will be done by end of the week, I think by the end of the window we will have a RW for around 30/40m young and both footed. Hopefully kubo
@millso42 we have had a canny few players leave that were on decent size wages and if trips goes then that will allow even more. I dont think wages are an issue it will be more the transfer fee and terms of how much is paid upfront and what addons ect. Personal terms normally are agreed in principle before a deal is done. Clubs contact a players agents to find out if a player is even interested and what wages they want before making offial bids. No point wasting time negotiating with a team if the player isn't interested. So I recon deals will be done relatively quick and wages ect won't really be an issue. Wages amount to a fraction of the player cost.
If we secure Guehi, I think we might be seeing Schar leave if someone comes in with offer, it wont be anything huge financially and I be sorry to see him go due the strength in depth it will provide keeping him, but 1 year on his contract, factor in age and not a guaranteed starter it may release the brakes slightly for his departure. For £65 million I would expect Guehi to be given the number 6 shirt. No disrespect to Lascelles, but Guehi is England's number 6.
