I'm a president of a cemetery board. We have awesome people taking care of ours. It's pleasure to see people care so much. The unsung heroes of somber times.
“You don’t chase the wand! Warning! Next time…you’ll get warned AGAIN!”😂😂😂
I know - that was a lol moment! 😂😂
😅😅😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂😂😂
my healer is the same way especially with the garden hose LOL
My husband the hvac engineer says it sounds like the vent is plugged on your heater for your shop heater or the damper isn't opening like it should or if it has a power vent the motor is burnt out. Or it could be the gas value is leaking so it gets too much gas at once.
He said the most common issue is wasps or hornets nests blocking the exhaust.
The city takes care of the cemeteries where I live. They leave them very messy with a very big mound of dirt. It takes about a year for all the dirt to settle. And when they mow they hit some of the headstones. Thank you for showing us that you care.
I'd be writing the mayor re lack of respect...
Go chase butterflies, Ellie. 😂. Chase the beetles around. 😂. Love how Daddy Cornstar trains Ellie. He does so with much love!❤
Good seeing Cooper working with DC, even though he has his own channel.
I mostly bailed out when they broke into their own channels. I think the family together on a single channel is better. But since they each run their own business off the farm I assume they couldn't figure out how to split the youtube profits (which are obviously substantial).
"Booming sound could likely be due to "delayed ignition." This phenomenon occurs when there's a delay in the gas igniting, which can cause a buildup of gas and result in a small explosion or boom when it finally ignites."
Now, how to fix it🤔. Make sure your service guys checked the gas pressure, ignition timing, etc.
Sounds like a tiny propane leak
Delayed ignition. The gas flows longer building up a pocket of gas that goes "boom" when it lights. In commercial boilers it is caused by a bad burner tube or a dirty burner.
If the air switch is bad the combustion fan will come on at the wrong time causing a delayed ignition. Get a different Boiler tech.
Nice to see the grave digging, remember 5 years ago you and Sable digging on very cold days. With the warm weather coming if you see her have her give us a shout out and update on how things are going for her.
I hope you get the Sable update I’ve asked before on Coles channel and no response
Fantastic editing job, Summer! It would be awesome if you would start editing some new videos for your Sum Good Stuff channel! 😉 I miss your springtime gardening videos. You’re missed and hopefully, you will return someday.
Looks like that oil line needs an insert to keep it from collapsing when you tighten it.
I imagine the cemetery was laid out before the equipment was used. When graves were dug by hand.
Good Point
I have seen in some cemetery's especially in the east they will move the head stones so they are back to back one will be at the foot rather than the head of the grave so they equipment and mowers can get thru to maintain lawns and for burials it looks odd but more efficient to maintain the cemetery.
Thank you DC always enjoy!
My dad was buried last weekend at Turner Cemetery and I keep wondering if Daddy Cornstar did the digging. I hope so!
Awww I’m sorry for your loss. 😢
Unfortunate you did not give much of a good shot on the Boiler. It does look like a two pipe air input and exhaust. Check to make sure nothing as gotten into the pipes. Wasp nest and birds nest will mess with the air/exhaust causing lack of air to start the burning process and thus a delayed ignition. A chamber that is not sealed will also cause such issues, I would check for issues with the model!! Ignitor weak, wrong or improperly installed can also lead to a failure to ignite. An ignitor, if flat surface style that heats up to ignite as to pull info power (amps) to actually get hot enough to ignite. If spark style needs a hot enough spark to once again Ignite. A poor ground on a spark system can also lead to this happening as well as the surface of the sparker or ground side being dirty. Electricity does not like to go through stuff. One more thing that can cause such a problem is dirty burners. Cole at the house was just talking about cleaning the burners. If the gas can not freely move through the burners it can cause the gas to move away from the igniter. Unlike what Cole did, I remove the burners and take them to a sink and flush water through them and cover the big openings to force water through the small openings of the burner. One last thing that can cause problems is the control board.
Tip here. Instead of buying plywood all the time. Invest into MoMatt. We use it on our equipment to not leave tracks in yards but you could use it for the graves. One time buy type of thing and multi use.
One of the two cemetaries in my small town is so unkempt, grass overgrown, branches falling down and recently dug graves not being properly filled in. Makes me sad to see it.
"Next time,...you'll be warned again." 😆 Not Cooper's dog.
Thank you for doing the work you do as I would be hard pressed to do it myself.
I’m glad that you share some of the struggles you experience with this line of work, you are such a caring family 👏👏
Did cooperate just demonstrate the “ farmer’s blow” ?
What farmers do when there’s no Kleenex available?
Did we really need to see that, Cedric ? 😁
Where I live in SC they leave the dirt next to the Graves on plywood and cover the dirt with grass carpet then they they lay flowers that people send on top of that until they get ready to back fill the grave
You caught Cooper using his Georgia hanky, please tell him to get back on with his videos. You have raised some fine young men! I’m proud for you. Thanks
The unit should turn fan on evacuate the fire chamber then start igniter and release gas once lit a flame sensor sees the flame and allows it to high fire so maybe a weak igniter or a sticky gas valve make sure there is no birds nest in the cubustion air intake pipe causing a bad air to fuel mixture the same for exhaust gas pipe, also make sure its not just making steam make sure the primary circulator is functioning if it was failing it could cause the water to over heat into steam but the flow switch should catch that, I miss doing problem calls lol
Sounds like a cracked fire box.
Godspeed Cornstars all.
You guys should buy a mini excavator would be a lot easier to dig those
For sure ignition problem on heater. what you hear is a small explosion of too much gas before it ignites. My water heater in my RV was doing the same exact thing. The flow of Propane needs to be directed exactly in the right place as to mix with oxygen at he right time while the ignitor is on. I eventually corrected the problem through trial and error by slightly bending the port toward the ignitor.
Sounds like your system has a water hammer issue. Maybe try changing the check valves or see about installing a pressure relief valve.
Good to see what's going on the farm beings Cole is in deep with his home Renovations , I just can't watch what he's doing to the old farm house. Great to see daddy cornstar and cooper keeping up on things.
If it has an electrical igniter, it may not be reaching its full temperature quick enough and allows gas to build before it ignites with a boom. I have had to replace igniters on furnaces before because even-though they might get red in color, they are not doing it quick enough.
Scolding the dog like he would a kid funny😅😅😅
My brother in law dug many graves over the years by hand no equipment but a pick axe and a shovel. now his son digs graves for many cemeteries. Here in WI
There was a guy. “Sonofabuck” he, and another guy dug graves by hand. Winter, sumner into his 80s. Went out shovel snow. Start a fire, coal, wood, covered with frame with galvanized steel. Next day remove, dug.
Floor heat is nice.
I know you said that they have replaced the igniter. I would also like to change the gas valve with it most. Valves are opening up by resistance from the igniter, and if the sensor that sees the igniter is hot enough to ignite gas. Also check your burners with propane causes rusting and difficulty in lighting and you will have the explosion
I could see where a JCB 1CXT would be very handy for the cemetery. It's a backhoe and skid steer all in one and very maneuverable..
The burner runners may be dirty and blocked. The burners need to be in line and not tilled. The boom is the farthest burners, not lighting as they should.
Nice Cooper 😂. I worked with a guy who wore the most expensive suits. He always did the one finger blow in the parking lot. Something some guys never outgrow. My Dad used cloth handkerchiefs. He always wanted them ironed, despite never being shown in a pocket, just to blow. He also loved me to monogram his nadty snot rags.😂
It sounds like the ingniter is to far away from the burner and it get to much gas before it ignites also have them check the gas pressure at the gas valve may be adjusted to high
Have you tried to clean the sediment out of the water heater? We have a tankless water heater and periodically we have to clean the sediment trap and then run vinegar through the lines to clear out mineral deposits. We are on well water.
Every time you put the ramps back, I plug ears too. LOL
86.00 that’s insane!
Since you love to read comments, I thought I would ask you instead of Cole. So does the work on the house stop now til after harvest? I wanted to share what happened to me a couple of weeks ago as well. My cheap husband that lives to save a dime(not in a bad way)told me no more generic ketsup. Cracked me up. So yes, I bought him a big ole bottle of Heinz Ketsup. I adore your whole family. It is wonderful to watch a loving, christian family and your awesome friends. This world is just a mess and we look forward to all y'alls videos. I do miss Summer real bad. take care and God Bless, the Miller's from East Tennessee xxooxx
Daddy corstar when I go I wish you would be the one that's takes care of my old body❤😊
I look forward to next exciting episode when you wash the other side of the truck😁
You do your job well at the cemetery 😀 It looks great! There is a cemetery 2 minutes from my house and oh they do the bare minimum (funerals almost every week)..
Thank you for your contribution for people and their respect for them I love your morals and your respect till next time God’s help always
If the hot water pump turns on and you hear the "boom", the system might be hammering, due to having air in it.
GAS not Water related...
Thanks for sharing in this video ❤❤❤❤❤
Yea daddy cornstar .
About time you get a nice truck
Sounds like gas build up prior to ignition in my opinion.
DC place a camera to catch the boom:)
DC do you realize there is zero footage of the grave digger in action? I’d love to see how it works even if it were just a hole on the farm.
On the tankless...gas has a narrow band ( %) when it is combustible...what you describe is a build up of a large amount of fuel and air, then ignition. The heater will run a purge cycle ...test the ignitor and check proofing switches , blower speed , etc. It can upon firing, fail and the blower would go into purge mode . Some source of ignition can cause a boom at that time...more likely the flame is unstable and surging due to fuel quality, a bad regulator, or lack of oxygen in the intake air. The mixture can rise or fall into the percentage needed and Boom ! Check clearences for terminations and your fuel system. G.L.
Nice looking truck except being a blue oval ... loved your obs chevy , I had a gmc very similar
If that part was $ 46 that would be too much.
Have a great week and stay safe D C .
It sure sounds like it ignites too late and the gas buildup has been a bit too rich. Those booms are not nescessary and they can be right scary when it suddenly explodes. It's not healthy for the burner so it should be taken care of. Good luck with it.
Possibly spider webs in the gas tubes.
Thanks for sharing
Daddy cs the boom could be a delayed ignition caused by one or more burner holes plugged with burnt dust. If I looked at it I would first look at for a white powder near the pilot or igniter. Id look to see if a couple holes were blocked or plugged up near that igniter or if multiple burners are close to each other. A delayed ignition can happen if gas is coming out of a burner but access to the igniter or pilot is blocked and the burners don’t lite until gas builds up enough to drift over to that pilot or igniter
Perhaps get some orange cones to put out for road parking.
To much propane pressure. Have your guy put manometer on the inlet of the gas valve adjust to factor specs. Then put gauge on burner side of the valve and adjust for burner side.. normal 12 oz. In.10 oz out. After adjustments.. start up a check. .. too much propane blowing past the igniter on startup then when it ignites…boom!
I have seen on a propane system where the regulator goes bad and in this case the heater went fire hot and the pigs suffocated. When they fixed it, two regulators were plumbed in the line just in case. Good luck with your problem. Enjoy your story Daddy Cornstar.
I would see if you can contact the manufacturer of the insta heat water heater. They may have an idea of what is causing it.
That's excellent I've never seen that before
Have a nice week.
The tolerance on that little part is very tight because they squeeze together so tight they will not leak. You are paying for the close tolerance of both parts.
It's just a compression fitting.
Some times you get air in the water lines but I bet that’s the first thing they check
There should be a adjustment for the ignighter on the computer should be a switch. They keep it from Having miny explosions
My boiler in basement was doing same thing, Navien . Then it throws a code about exhaust. I was next to it one time it did it, thought it was going come flying at me....BOOOOOOM! I saw the panel/cover expand!
I jus turned it off for most of winter, I was going to tear it apart and see if something crawled in the Exhaust over last summer?? It looks clear but can't see all the way in. It seems to be purging like it should before it lights the fire, but o man.....didn't want to burn down the house.
Not an answer for ya, but mine is doing same thing. Let us know if you get or got it fixed.
nice video DC
I also wonder about that, my alternator was 500$ but a rebuild kit was 45$! I was stuck on the side of the road...
think there is a valve that has stopped. or a long one that is pinched or bent too sharply so that there is not enough passage in the system
I love that they focused on Coop's farmer's blow 😂🤣😂🤣
Great DC, amazing how you always treat the cemetery work with such respect. Set up the Go-Pro and point it at the system and let it catch the noise! Sounds like an air or exhaust situation but that’s just an idea I had cause our pipes were banging in walls and there was air in them. Good Luck 👍
That is daylight robbery for a compression joint, you could knock one of those out on a small lathe in an hour, you should check around and see if you can retro fit normal plumbing parts for them. If the heating guys said it’s fixed and it’s not get them back, you don’t pay again if it’s not fixed the original problem.
All you have to do is buy a lathe, learn how to use it, spend an hour making it and hope it works. The odds of you every needing to make another one is minimal.
I worked at a place where the furnace did that when the wind was strong from the NW. If a door was opened to the wind side the furnace would finally light. The answer in that case would have been to plumb the intake combustion air to the same outside wall, but of course they never did and the heat exchanger cracked from the from all the little explosions. Obviously the inducer fan is going, but is there sufficient flow out the exhaust?
They show your experiencing with that hot water floor system is at the system is introducing the hot water to the cold water way too fast so that's what gives you your explosion sound The system is cranked up way too fast for it to circulate so it needs to be set to slow so that way it'll move throughout the system slow first and then it can speed up because the minute the hot water is introduced into the cold water system remember it expanse which shocks the whole tire system which that's what gives you your loud boom
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😂
Great job and loved the video 😘👍🏻💕🙏🏻🙏🏻
great job!
Cool graves.
I’m surprised you haven’t had it painted to keep looking good 👍🏼 😊
Papa Cornstar, maybe check the flue might have a nest. Not sure what else could cause a back fire of sort.
I would call the manufacturer of the hot water heater.
You might be surprised it'll give you answers
Check for air in the line. There are things you can add in the line to take the boom out. Did it to my house pipes. No more boom.
GAS not Water related...
It sounds like the chamber is flooding with gas before the igniter fires
Is the Boom water hammer? You might need a bleed off valve at the highest point of your water supply to your radiant heating
I think the sound you’re hearing is called an air hammer. It is where when the pump kicks in and creates a pressure against the copper pipes they can put a air chamber in it, which for stops it from hammering.
GAS not Water related...
I think I just passed the red volvo with the new trailer, but if so your a ways from home!
Yo dude wicked vid you should ask Roman to have a look at your underfloor heating?👍
Check the Thermo coupler and check the heating elements you might have a bad connection if it pops like that
Replace your instant hotwater with an electric or gas 80 gallon water heater. You are asking too much of such a small unit to heat that floor with that many zones. Those instant hots are fine in alabama but you have real winters in your neck of the woods. As for the banging that sounds like one or more zones are airbound.
One time my dad was picking rock and found a big one and he went to get it out and him and my grandpa had to use our backhoe to dig it out and they struggled to get it out just to find out the backhoe was on it becuas the rock was bigger than the backhoe but they eventually got it out and had to push it around with our bulldozer to move it
I think JCB got to you on that one! you can get a brass compression fitting at the parts store for just a couple bucks!
I believe that is why creamation is the answer if space is the issue. I've planned on creamation. An be scattered around the area.
86 bucks, sounds like price gouging to me. Ellie must like the water the way she goes after it. She's a cutie, be safe little lady. Enjoyed watching the video. Keep up the good work DC, big thumbs up
Mark your stick with depth marks from bucket teeth so you know your depth with out measuring. I dug utilities for decades, knowing personal.
One bolt for my truck was $87.00 CAD
Why not install rubber dock bumpers so the ramp land on them😊
