Thank you for sharing this tip. I made my first spring rolls today and had a lot of trouble separating the sheets. Even after following the instructions exactly on the back. I wasted a few and patched up a few torn sheets but they still turned out nice. I will try this tip next time. Oh and a tip for everyone else. I didn’t want to waste the torn ones so I brushed with oil and scrunched them up and cooked them in the air fryer. Makes a lovely crunchy pastry rosette. And yes I cooked the spring rolls in my air fryer as well.

Since most packagin contains 30 or 40 sheets, how do I manage to get only a few of them and keep the other in the freezer? The instructions say "do not refreeze after thawing"
I had that problem as well, what i did was set time aside (once i experimented to find the right balance of flavours i liked) and made a whole batch of spring rolls to use all the wrappers. PS I used about 1/3 of the wrappers to make samosa's, deep fried them, used what i needed that day, then froze the rest and it worked quite well
I also do the same. I use them to make spring rolls and samosas both, and if still few sheets left behind then I cling wrap them and then put in ziplock bag and freeze. They don't dry out like so.
Much much appreciated for your Gold suggestions. You are a product saver 👋🏻😅. Loved me some but sheets been freezing for a couple of months. Thought they’re probably no good anymore but thanks to you.. they’ll do fine with your last suggestion. God bless. 💐
@@FlavorTin Oh, I did, thanks again. They were like fresh after I steamed them in a damp towel. I enjoyed them. They folded well like normal and were tasty. 🌸🍃👋🏻🥰
Thank you very much, I was looking for the system because I always get failure to use this & sheet became cracked and so hard whether I put it into the damp cloth, so warm up into micro oven is helpful suggestions for me.. thanks once again..❤ love this idea
put sheets in ziplock bag and give them steam for 2-3 minutes, either in pressure cooker or in a steamer. They will be super soft and easy separable too.
Hey this was very helpful to me but I have one question that is after this 3 step the sheets under damp cloth where I should store it in freezer or what plz answer me ma'am it will help me a lot
sorry i couldn't understand...you meant how to store leftover sheets ? so once you finished making all rolls after step three, then take the pastry out from damp cloth and put them in ziplock bag and freeze.
what i do...I first tightly cling wrap the whole block of wrappers and then put them in ziplock bag. I have tried this many times because sometimes you are short of time and cant make all of them at once. Hope this helps you too. ❤️
no problem, you can plastic wrap them and refrigerate. Next day take them out, bring them to room temperature and use. If you feel they become stiff and hard to fold then repeat the procedure of microwaving. They'll be soft again.
Why are my wrappers not sticking when I roll them at the end they don’t stay rollled up. I tried egg wash, water/flour. ? Too dry? Won’t stick… or not thawed enough? I made them once before and they worked perfectly. So I don’t know what went wrong. Did the same thing.
Put the pastry in damp kitchen towel and microwave for 30-60 seconds depends on your microwave. First give 30 seconds then take it out and check if your pastry is warm and soft then no need to give another 30 seconds otherwise give it one more time.
Then wrap your sheets in aluminum foil and place on the flat pan or tawa at low heat for 2-3 minutes. Turn side and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until all sheets are slightly warm till inside. Now open foil cover, take them out and wrap in damp cloth. Now they are ready to roll. Hope this helps X
Thanks a lot for this video. U saved me from wasting many packs of spring roll sheets. God bless u for this help ❤

What to do if we don't have micro wave
put sheets in ziplock bag and give them steam for 2-3 minutes, either in pressure cooker or in a steamer. They will be super soft and easy separable too.
Wow

What we have to do if we want to conserve rest of the sheets for other day
How to store it ?

Can we fill the pastry with fillings 2 hours before baking? Or do we need to bake it immediately after rolling?
yes, you can and put them in refrigerator if the weather is hot otherwise no need.
What kind of wrapper are you using
What do you do to seal the spring roll? Just water?
water and AP flour.
how to store it after opening the packet
wrap them in plastic then put in a ziplock bag and freeze. They will not dry out.
Thanks for share

If you don’t use all of the wrapper, can you save it for the next day or will it dry out?
no problem, you can plastic wrap them and refrigerate. Next day take them out, bring them to room temperature and use. If you feel they become stiff and hard to fold then repeat the procedure of microwaving. They'll be soft again.

May be they are dried out. If they are fresh and pliable then they can easily stick even with water only. Try another brand
@@FlavorTin I find also if the filling is too oily, the oil sometimes soaks through the wrapper and it won't stick nicely.
How to microwave this pastry?
Put the pastry in damp kitchen towel and microwave for 30-60 seconds depends on your microwave. First give 30 seconds then take it out and check if your pastry is warm and soft then no need to give another 30 seconds otherwise give it one more time.
Thank you
You're welcome

welcome❤️
Couldn't I just leave it in the package instead of putting a towel on it?
It seems like spring roll pastries are impossible to find
And if one doesn't have a microwave, ya stuffed!
