Thanks a lot for your excellent video.I have before worked with Casio PG-380, but the midi does,nt work with it now.So now the Roland GR-55 will be the one,and so good it works and sounds so good with a acoustic guitar.

I would like to ask you if the r gr55 can work with an instrument other than the guitar that has a microphone. for example a bandit with a microphone. A bandola is an instrument similar to a banjo or an electrically amplified mandolin.

Hi! Tell me please, what outputs are you using in the gr55? Is it only outputs L and R? Do these outputs also output the original guitar sound and mix the original and synth sounds with them? Second question. I read somewhere that the GK-3 pickup changes the original sound of the guitar for the worse. Have you noticed this with your guitar?

Klasse Video, und mit viel Geschmack aus den Teils echt miesen Presets des GR-55 das Beste gemacht! Könntest du deine Presets nicht zur Verfügung stellen als Download? Was ich gar nicht o.k. fand, war der Doppelklebeband-Tipp. Das kann sich je nach Marke schnell lösen, verursacht Lackschäden / Verfärbungen, und der Tonabnehmer muss ziemlich genau und fest positioniert werden; ich würde für das runde Steuergerät die beigelegte Halterung (oder einen Selbstbau) verwenden oder ganz klar schrauben, und den Tonabnehmer im Zweifelsfall auch schrauben. Dann erst ist es "auftrittsicher" und professionell befestigt.
Laut Einbauanleitung ( und allen Videos auf youtube) wird der Pickup mit Kabel nach oben eingebaut. Hier genau umgekehrt. Kann man das einfach so machen oder gibt es irgendetwas zu beachten.
Wie habt ihr das geschafft, den Abnehmer des GK-3 andersrum zu positionieren ? Ich würde das auch so haben wollen. Stört das weniger. Ist das eine Einstellung im Gerät? Ich hab einen GR-20 und hab es nicht rausgefunden, wie das geht :( Danke Vorab für die Antwort !

I see that you've turned the gk-3 over to route the cable downward. Is there a setting in the gr-55 for that or how is it possible?
I have the same question. It would be more practical for me with cable facing downward.

Just in case anyone hasn't found out yet, you can reverse the pickup in the system settings. This has been available on all V guitar products since the vg 99. Since I reversed mine I can't use my gr 33.
