OMG - with each reveal, outside, room, lunch, dinner, swimming. Geez - France has the most incredible hotels. OMG - Lastly, a private tour of Versailles itself - appreciate, thank you for sharing this beautiful tour! 🙂
It was THE best vacation I've ever had and honestly probably the most "worth it" 5 star luxury hotel---you get so much more than just a room. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! 😊...part 2 comes out 1st Monday of Sept. 😉
You'll have an amazing time! I spent 2 nights ( I think 3 would've been the perfect amount of time as there is so much to do and enjoy)! If you're doing 1 night and you're not in a rush to leave the next day, the hotel still gives you access to the gardens (golf cart included) and tickets to the main palace and trianons so def take advantage of that! I actually recommend doing this and during your actual stay, enjoy what the hotel has to offer!
@@ericaandria Sorry I have more questions haha.. did you eat the royal feast for dinner twice or just once? Do you know if any of the excursions are worth doing? Thanks again!
@@ericactsai omg, no worries! we ate at the restaurant twice. The first night we did an à la carte version of the royal feast menu and the second night we did the royal feast. The only difference was less food and no pomp with the first meal---but still yummy! Though, I think if I were to do it again I'd opt for room service for one night. For excursions, do you mean the paid add-ons? If so, we originally planned horse back riding and a picnic but we were going early April and the hotel couldn't fulfill the request because of the uncertainty of the weather (but I know people who've done these and really enjoyed it...especially the picnic!). With the other stuff that's included in the stay, I regret not waking up early enough to do the private tours of the King and Queens trianons...but the bed was TOO comfy and the breakfast was too grand and delicious to rush through...hope that helps!
@@ericaandria Yes! I was wondering about the paid add ons and if they were worth it.. I'm thinking of just doing one night room service and the second night at the restaurant. Did you eat the lunch at the restaurant.. if so do you recommend? Trying to decide if lunch is necessary when we first arrive or if we should skip it.. haha. Thank you so much for the info! So helpful :)
le prix d'une nuit est mon salaire pour le mois xD tu m'étonne que c'est splendide ,3 mois de salaire en 3 jours juste pour dormir xD belle video ,c'est vrai que c'est splendide ;)
Merci d'avoir regardé! I'm afraid my French is a bit rusty so this part will have to be Franglais...This hotel is definitely how you'd say "ce n’est pas donné." I was definitely hesitant and nervous about spending this kind of money, but for me, it was a once in a lifetime experience that I am very happy to have had. Now, la galère commence 🤭😅
They offered private tours of the king and queen's trianons (and the queen's hameau) but we wanted to sleep in so we skipped out on those. We also planned on doing the picnic but the hotel advised against it as they were unsure about the weather leading up to the trip. So we mostly explored on our own, enjoyed the spa and pool, and hung out at the hotel (ate a lot), but the private tour of the palace was (and is in my opinion) the best part!
Hey, Erica. I am not sure what you mean by "love babies" but if it means illegitimate children, Louis XVI had none. He had no mistress. He never cheated on Marie-Antoinette. Turgot never had to take care of any baby 🙂 Who told you this strange story ?
@@ericaandria I understand now 🙂 Well hotel staff are not historians, so no big deal here. Turgot was actually secretary of State for Louis XVI. So, I guess your appartement rather belonged to a former secretary, under the reign of Louis XV… But I am afraid I can't give you his name 🙂 Whatever, I hope you had a great stay in Versailles, and thanks for sharing those moments 🙂 Have a good day !!!
