Congratulations on the Asics Freeby. I've never tried those. My current favourite daily trainer is the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 - bought 2 pairs in a sale - they have a lot of bounce and a nylon plate for a bit of spring and stability.
My daily trainer is the HOKA Mach 5 (Mach 6 has recently been released and a Mach X) I just completed the Two Oceans half marathon in Cape Town and ran in my HOKA Rocket X they were awesome (Thanks Dom for answering my request for advice prior to this race). My trail shoes are the HOKA Tekton X which is a great off road shoe!
Great review. Enjoyed NB3 so much I bought a second pair after 200km. Been running for a long time and they are the best daily trainer I’ve ever had. I recommend buying a second pair 😂
Good for you that you enjoyed the NB3. I tried it it seems work for me: slippery, unstable on uneven surface; narrow and it doesn't agree with my stride; ended up becoming "resistant" training shoes :D Recent Asics "dailies" has not been working for me; specifically their durability
I have the novablast 3 tr, and that is 790km. I think it could go to +1000km, but I will stop at 800km because it feels like it has bottom out. For $135, it was very good bang for km. Lately, I have been really enjoying hyperion tempo as my daily. It is firm but can pickup.
I'm running a long time now and a bit older than you but I use Brooks Adrenaline or Brooks Glycerin for support and stability these days. Ive had bouts of Plantar Fasciitis and Tendonitis so these shoes give my feet and calves the support they need with lots of cushion and guiderails etc.
I'm using the Saucony Endorphin Speed right now, and they're good for slower paces (despite the name), but also fine for picking up the pace. Don't feel clumpy, just nice to wear.
Loving my endorphin speed at the moment. Also have novablast 3 and Nike vomeros - prefer the novablast to vomero 🤷♂️ also why don't you track your shoe KMs in Strava!
Omg 800-900km in those shoes 😂 I think you should replace them before you get an injury 😂 Ps you can set what shoe you wear on strava for each run so you can keep track of the exact number of kms ur doing on each shoe. Pps my favourite daily trainer is the saucony triumph!!! Love love love them. I have the asics novablast 3 on my shoe shelf but I always reach for the saucony. They feel just slightly softer and comfier than the novablast. I used to like the nimbus 25 but decided they are just for short recovery runs, not as a daily trainer.
I'm the opposite - always grab the Novablast 2 instead of the Triumph! Nova 2 is the comfiest shoe I've ever owned. Triumph is a bit clunky personally.
I love how you make your content. Haha, I super appreciate the ASMR-ish chalk writing.

Great shoe

Boston 12 is my fav daily trainer. I do have the nova 3 and they are similar to be but the Boston has better grip

Try using the Nike structure 25, a very simple shoe but can help in the future when you lace up the carbon plated shoes.

More than 1,000km on my third pair of Novablast 3. Just amazing. (Yes, it's time to buy a fourth one... or try something new! )
dude I’m glad someone else is wearing theirs to 1000km! 😁😅

I am very tempted to try saucony! despite not knowing how to pronounce it 😅

@offthemeynroad4054 novablast 2 is better than novablast 3 in my opinion. So that's understandable why you grab that one 🙂
@MR-wh5wp yep and just found another pair online for $120!
Hi, I noticed that this yellow color is only women's. Is there different between Novablast 3 men and women? Thanks.
G’day - these are: Men's NOVABLAST 3 | Glow Yellow/White. But for the record I would wear women’s if they fit 😇
ASICS kayano
Average Dom Slim Carrey 💪
I might be stating the obvious here, but there is a 4 now..................😉
Time to retire the old fellas!!
I’m not ready! 😔
Flap those ears and you might just fly away
I’ve tried - they’re just for show! 😁
Not sure the point of this review. They are stopping to sell Novablast 3 now, I cannot find my size anywhere already.
