Love this!!! My griddle is being delivered in a couple of days. I have a wok lid that will work like the dome. I am taking my griddle on the road in my camper. It is a 22".
I tried this last night. I have to say it was awesome. My wife said it was the best pizza she has ever eat. The kids loved them too. Thanks for the recipe guys!
Hey Griddle Guys👋🏼Did you know if you grate your own cheese (vs. buying the pre-grated stuff), it will melt better? The pre-grated cheese contains a chemical to stop it from clumping, which also affects the melt. Great video! Can’t wait to try it myself! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Looks great ...If you want an amazing tasting as it looks dough , just add some Italian seasoning & some dried Basil ( seasonings don't count as Ingredients ) plus about a quarter cup extra virgin olive oil ...Do cover your dough with plastic wrap & let proof for awhile , you'll love the texture so much more..
Ty for commenting Arthur. You know I legit want to try this now. Like 7a where I am right now . Adding the oil intrigues me the most. Seasoning of course never hurts. I will definitely be trying that. I love the dough but I can never seem to get it as crispy as I'd like. Curious if the oil will help. Thanks again-J
@@TheGriddleGuys The oil will make it easier to work , it will also make it a little softer & chewy ... If you want it it be crisper just add a couple teaspoons of Baking SODA , Not Powder , Baking Powder helps it Rise , Baking Soda Helps with Crispness & Browning ...
Looks great ! I make pizza’s for our Camp Crowd using Pita bread & basically do it the same way . The key is getting the toppings warm so the cheese melts before the bottom burns !
Thanks got the video. I was skeptical about pizza on the Blackstone, but decided to try it. Used your two ingredient pizza crust topped with pepperoni, green pepper, onion, mushroom and Italian cheese blend. It was good, I will definitely make pizza on the BS again. My wife liked the thickness of the crust, but I will roll mine out thinner next time. I like a petty thin crust
LOVE the channel guys!! I like that you are local guys (I live in North Dighton, MA) it's a lot easier to understand you when you talk compared to most of the channels filmed out west and down south. Keep up the great work and recipes!!!
Guys, just made this tonight on the Blackstone. Followed your recipe exactly, and the pizzas FAR exceeded expectations. Amazing! Couldn’t believe how good that crust was given the ingredients. 10 out of 10!
Ty Jean. No doubt we put a lot of work into this but when it comes down to it we really are having a great time. Im glad it comes through in the videos. Thanks again-J
You have to try this take a bagel even a frozen one cut it have and better every side and throw on griddle and weight it down best thing ever. Love the content you guys need an instagram
Thank you for the suggestion. Will be sure to try. Unfortunately I've been the one put in charge of Instagram and I've failed miserably. I will try and do better 😉-J
I noticed someone used a spray bottle once on the crust, which was a very brittle puff-pastry. It turned out super crispy and a nearly tooth-shattering crunch in all the right ways.
I like this because its simple with not too many ingredients. Perfect for a beginner griddler like me. Cant wait to try it out. Oh and here in Indiana we add cheese by the pound, yum!
Ty Joe, we are glad to have you. We are very lucky to have some great subscribers . Lots of great comments and good suggestions. We look forward to hearing what you think. Ty-J
Fantastic lookin pizza guys. I love makin pizza on my Blackstone, I usually use tortillas of different sizes but I'm gonna give this recipe a try. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.
You guys gotta be from Massachusetts or Boston area. I have several good friends from South Mass (Wareham) and it's like I'm listening to them when you guys talk. Great videos by the way.
Thx Hussey. It really is as simple as it looks and very tasty! And yes you would fit right in with us ! We love your channel and videos. Keep on griddling bro!! TGG
Getting a 2 burner 22" blackstone from wally world. love watching your show, keep it up. Please try bourbon chicken, and blackened chicken, those are two I want to try. Keep being amazing. Thomas Warren
Shredded cheese store bought has a waxy coating which is why it takes longer for it to melt. It will take much less time if you buy a brick and grate it yourself.
This was a big hit! I made them for my family tonight, they loved them. I love this recipe, it was easy and fun to do. Will be doing them again next week! Team Dome!
Jeff, just tried the pizza dough, it was awesome. Chris and Nate I'm thinking Jeff might be the yolk holding you three together. Lol. I've watched all your videos keep it up.

That looks amazing! We'll have to try it tonight at our "social distancing" little family get together! Doubt it will come out as good as the "Official Griddle Guys" pizza, but we'll give it a shot!
Its a silicone scraper. I definitely recommend it. Wife gets a bit irritated because i tend to use it for everything from scrambled eggs to couscous. Needless to say when you use it to serve couscous its gets a bit messy. Lol.
Hey Griddle Guys! I had been considering buying a griddle for a while and after watching your videos...well I let’s say I am no longer considering it as a 36” Blackstone is sitting on my porch. I live just north of Worcester which is close to you all. Do you have any tips for a new griddle owner? I have seasoned it and what not but am looking for any tips beyond that!
1. Set up a system for getting the basics to the griddle, then back into the house. Essentials include paper towels, a nearby trash, a sharp knife, water bottle for cleaning, oil for cooking, your scraper and large spatula, salt and pepper and a clean cloth towel if you plan to use one. Last essential is a tasty drink to sip while cooking!! :) If you can store this stuff near the griddle, or put it all in a single container for carrying it in and out, it makes griddling more enjoyable. No one likes going in and out of the house 6 times just to get started cooking. 2. Maintain your seasoning/patina. Right after you finish cooking turn all the burners to low and let the temp come down, then wipe everything down with paper towels and do a light cleaning with water&scraper&Paper towels, then oil it very very very lighlty and turn it off. Next time you cook, warm it up and do a quick wipedown with damp paper towels again to pick up any spent oil. So on every cook it's the same,,, Warm it up, give it a quick wipe down or 2, cook, give it a cleaning and oil after the cook. We have found the 2 handed scaper works really well but is not essential. You do however need at a min a food grade scraper and you can order them on amazon for short money. 3. Don't be afraid to serve from the griddle. Whenever we can, we just have people walk over with a plate and we put the food from the griddle into the plate, This saves on dishes/cleanup and the person eating is guaranteed hot food. As a side note,,, do not worry about scratching the griddle surface, you can't. Feel free to cut on it, scrape it, wack it with tongs your not going to damage it. N

I bet if you wanted to make things easier later you could make a bunch of the dough, roll it out separated by wax paper, then freeze them. Then when you wanted pizza you just take one out and go.
@@TheGriddleGuys Odd, it still had it greyed out, so I unsubscribed and resubscribed and that seemed to fix it. never had that happen before, but glad it is all good to go!
