Don't do bootlicking. Just interview them as you interview any normal country.

Thanks The Print for this OTC. Couldn't have thought any other media house in India to come up with it.. Kudos to SG and your team.

Shekhar i think you are old now so you don't know how to make productive discussion in today's technological world. I am disappointed 😔😔😔

Well. Age is just a number. How I wish it was a productive comment, telling SG what you want him to cover as a viewer rather than pulling him down. Sadly you choose the easier option.!!!
      Anyways have a great day.!!

What are you talking about? He is talking to the Representative of a Sovereign nation, you want him to talk like it’s a Chai Tapri conversation on Politics? It is your sense of inferiority that you are projecting on him. Be Better.

It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt

As an introvert I wonder if you can ever be an introvert and be good at diplomacy! Very interesting guest and a great interview.

Diplomacy is not just an art in international politics it is required in day to day life dealings as well. And believe me introverts make best diplomats.

Feels like sekhar is best buddies with colonials.Just look how friendly he talks with a person who thinks india as below them just can't show it.Should have been strictly professional.Being so chummy with lords depicts our slave mindset.Look at how china treats UK like dirt. Now we don't have the economy of china but at least have pride to not knell down to colonials.

I think highly time restricted interviews like these undermine the series' overall repute. I would wish for OTC to be a place where conversations happen that allow us to peer into the perspectives and sensibilities of the people themselves when they talk about things, and that requires commitment to give time. 20 minute interview can be done by anybody, journalists should reach out to the podcast community and explore that format to see if there is any scope to improve on their current communication protocols

Hope FTA gets done this year. India needs more foreign investments. But diplomacy is like watching paint dry

Please tell if Gupta Ji asked about open genocide threat is given to micro minorities like Hindus and Jews by Muslims in UK. Did he ask why every economic offender is welcomed with red carpet in UK?
Did he ask why Pakistan is still so much in centre of their foreign policy?

The English cricket board should demand two places in the top indian ranji teams. They will hone their spinners and batsmen to play on spinning wickets

Swadeshi Jagran at one side, it seems more ambivalent, I think its commies and socialist protection that's more against an FTA.
In poor taste to again open up our internal politics to the the ambassador.
We should have stuck to insights to be gained from their internal contradictions for us to understand and manoeuvre, not suggest differences within us.

Not sure why you interviewed him, I wouldn't touch British establishment with a barch pole. They will tell you what you want to hear but not what they will do or think about doing.
