Normally I would agree, but I think in the Chinese culture relatives have more sway with raising children then in others. Plus she hadn't been the most reliable parent, and auntie had pretty much helped raise him. So I kinda understand, but the husband totally should of stuck up for his current wife. I get the feeling that he would rather be with his ex, but current is his cross to bear since he's made so many horrible decisions for her, about her, and with her. Either way the two definitely deserve each other.
