- For nearly a week since July 30, 2024, violent riots and unrest have broken out in towns and cities across England by white working-class people. The riots have been met by counter armed "Muslim patrol" groups and the promise from the Labour government that they would use whatever means necessary to shut down the protests.

During the vigil a man tried to access the event with a balaclava and knife when confronted he fled towards the mosque and was arrested, this is why the attendees of the vigil went to the religious centre

Andy said that the police stood back and allowed the ‘minority’ rioters express their anger, but he didn’t mention that when the white, working class rioters expressed their anger, sometimes just by protesting, not rioting, they were immediately shut down by police and told by the government that they would ‘feel the full force of the law’. This is a two-tier and the majority are reminded of this repeatedly. ‘Just stay quiet and allow your country and your culture to be taken from you’.

No one in the West voted to have their country's overrun. The establishment needs a comeuppance. No one asked for this, and there was very little discussion about it. Just little platitudes ("diversity is our strength") and a accusation of racism if you don't like it. This is inevitable.

Why is England rioting! For reasons I can't say on YT and that in itself is a huge part of the problem.
What you forgot to mention is that in 1951 the UK was 99% + white British, a very homogeneous society.
Now with uncontrolled immigration, the people are feeling overwhelmed. We are a minority in our major cities and it’s only getting worse.

for decades successive govts - from Blair onwards - have ignored the concerns of the British people over mass immigration. we have colonies of racial religious groups now in cities across UK. when they riot the police run away and the govt says things like "these people have concerns that need looking at".. nothing is done about the violence or vandalism. police cars were burned etc. the 3 children murdered by the son of Rwandan parents naturally aroused great emotions among the people of Southport... working class ppl don't take things laying down. but the govt calls them "far right" and act like they are mobilised by a party called the English Defence League who became famous a long time ago with Tommy Robinson, but then essentially disappeared. the TWO TIER policing is making people angry.

For decades now, the UK government has allowed immigration to grow and taken now control of the situation. They have allowed the immigration system to collapse and always call people far right when they express any concern about it. They always trot out lines about immigrants being a net economic gain. But failed to address the fact that the pros and cons of immigration do not gat shared equally among all levels of society. The burdens of immigration always fall much heavier on the working class who suffer from a shortage of affordable housing and have wages pushed down for low skilled jobs, while the wealthy take all the gains from cheap labour. Equally it fails immigrants who live for months and months of government subsidies while waiting to be processed and are unable to work and pay taxes until they have their citizenship approved or rejected. There is very little in the way of inducting them into British society, educating them in the cultural expectations of behaviour, and they will tend to form enclaves throughout the towns of the country where they mix only with their own kind and are sometimes exploited and recruited into criminal gangs by other immigrants. Not some multicultural dream but parallel societies. People in the UK have reached a breaking point and it is unfair to label all protesters as far right or rioters. This may be difficult i some ways for Americans to relate to, The USA is a country where the foreign invaders already took everything from the native people and diminished their culture to minor status. In the UK we have a right to retain the heritage and values of the land our ancestors built and not be fed continuous platitudes about cultural enrichment when we actually see dilution of the values we hold dear when we see people coming here and bringing medieval practises we ended centuries earlier.
It's not far right to understand that immigration needs to be managed, nit just left to sort itself out.
It's not just the immigrants, it's the two tiered policing. The police have covered up crimes by immigrants against the native population. When a counter protester shows up at a pro hamas rally they are arrested. When a pro hamas protester shows up at a pro Israel or UK protest they are given a police escort.
Mass immigration is a net negative for the UK economy, as studies have shown.

As a 50 year old British parent, this has been festering for years. We aren't safe anymore. We have different religions here with no issues. It's only one that their loyalty is still in the middle east.

To provide some broader context, the riots are the tip of an iceberg of a list of recent events whereby the English people have witnessed police cowardice or adoption of a two-tier approach that allows certain ethnic groups to get away with more serious forms of disorder, unacceptable behaviour by Muslim figures that should be condemned, and the impact of an open door migration policy. Notable examples include the attempted murder of a British army officer, the Romani community riots in Leeds, the Manchester Airport incident (in which Muslim men were seen attacking police officers of both sexes) that was hijacked by radical members of Britain's Muslim community to propagate a false and malicious narrative, the machete party in Southend, and the stabbing of innocent children in Southport. It's no surprise either that the location of the riots (in places such as Rotherham, Sunderland, Hull etc.) are areas which have (and the data shows this) fallen into a state of decadence and decline at the hands of pre-Starmer governments.
FYI: Not just white, British people angry. People of *all* colours are furious at the two-tier policing.

Here’s an easy example for those who don’t understand it…….If I go to Japan, I respect the values of the Japanese and their country. If I go to China, I respect the values of the Chinese and their country. Very simple resolution, anyone that comes to Britain should respect the values of the British and their country. Thats all, it doesn’t seem very complicated to me.
Plenty of Brits with Sikh, West Indian, Indian and Asian ancestry feel the same way. It’s not just the white Brits.

Why are you leaving out what happened in Leeds the week before? Migrants rioted over 3 children taken away by social services. The Migrants threw rocks and set fire to a double decker bus among other things. And the police response? THEY RAN AWAY!

The police didn't run away. They arrested people that were peacefully demonstrating against the rioters.

During the Southport vigil for the murdered girls at least one and possibly two Muslims armed with machetes approached the crowd, that was what triggered the violence.

The Prime minister made a very incendiary speech on Thursday, which has lead to a weekend of violence. His speech clearly incited sectarian sentiments, and by not showing any consilliatory backtracking on what he said will further infame cultural tensions.

As a Brit, he has got it fairly correct, apart from one big omission. Normal working class British people, who not the Far Right, have serious grievances over mass immigation while being completely neglected, and treated like second class citizens, whilst unskilled immigrants get handouts, and illegal immigrants cause heinous crimes disproportinately. Also this is met with a 2 tier police system. Sound familliar? There is a far right element who always hijack the debate or lack of to whip up trouble and is happening also, sadly.

There have also been stbng mrdrs of yt tngrs in mltclt areas for which no one has ever been prosecuted because the new people said that they would stop voting Labour and torch the place if the police were not called off.
Palestine was great, Muslims, Jews and Christians all got on great together and lived in a happy society for centuries, then the invades came and destroyed everything.

Not just northern England, it's been in the south and London aswell.
This has been a long time coming
This is the inevitable outcome when you import millions and give them free stuff without understanding that their culture is incompatible with yours. There is a reason we have separate countries and belief systems. Non homogeneous societies do not seem to work very well as evident from historical records and writings. As soon as this violence starts to impact those in power who allowed it to happen, then you will see change. Until then it will continue and this type of violence response will become common.
I suspect if you put as much money into Two-Tier Keir's pockets as the ccp and Saudi Arabia do, you might have a chance.
Even then, it probably won't change. In my American city, a council person who decriminalized everything ended up getting carjacked and injured. She didn't back down from her policy position, she just moved out to the suburbs.
