can your incision grow over the stitches after there was some
swelling the first 3 days after the surgery? what will the Dr have to do
if that happens to remove the sutures?

I have some bad habits that mean I'm often seeking stitches - considering just learning to suture my wound myself so I stop wasting my money and doctors' time

It's totally possible to do at home, just make sure to keep everything sterile.
