Mt. Kanchanjunga lies near indian boarder but this whole mountain lies inside Nepal You can even check on Maps

Yes, I crossed into Myanmar but had to return to home country before 4 pm of the day, without the necessity of visa or passport, but just had to submit any ID proof at the immigration point at border. I am a resident of Imphal, Manipur.

you have told that India highest peak Kanchenjunga but actually is that, It is situated in the eastern Himalayas on the border between Sikkim state, northeastern India, and eastern Nepal, 46 miles (74 km) north-northwest of Darjiling, Sikkim.
So, I hope you will never do mistake in coming days and don't forget to tell that Kanchenjunga is located between both nation(India and Nepal) and It is the peak of both countries not only India.
