It must have been really odd after having had the same writing routine for so long but they've really grabbed the opportunity of "time off" to explore in other areas!
I really feel for them over Edinburgh. They obviously want to tour Swines again but also, I’m sure, want to do a new show. And then they’ll feel all conflicted about not having the immense pressure of doing a new show.
Yeah, it must be so tough for them with not being able to progress with a show and tour but on the plus side they know they have so much support and they get to have a break from the pressure of writing a new show for a couple of years which I have heard a lot of comedians say that they really need so hopefully in the long run it helps them not to burn out. (Much as I would love to see them in Edinburgh every year but they will be back soon, hopefully.)

Yeah, totally. They're really trying new things out and levelling up their skills. Their work ethic is incredible!

I wonder, though, because Patreon has really taken off for them and they have such a blast creating new material for that platform.

Yeah, Patreon is such a positive from this situation and hopefully it gives them more stability as well as new ways to be creative.
