  • The clock is made of wood in the 1700s. On the clock face are the initials of Krång Anders Andersson (1727-1799) from Östnor, traditionally known as the first clockmaker in the Mora district. The clock is fully working. Unfortunately, the clock does not have its original mechanism. The original mechanism of the clock was damaged, and since the clock had been in one family from the beginning, the former owner decided to replace the mechanism with another one. Currently, the mechanism is made by Franz Hermle. The clock strikes full hours and half hours. It is wound by pulling chains with weights suspended at the ends. To get to the pendulum and chains, open the flap mounted on the hinge.
