This beautiful Junghans clock is a mechanically wound pendulum clock. It has a spiral gong with a single hammer manufactured by Junghans. To make the sound of the gong spread more spatially, special holes masked with glass were placed on the side walls. The clock strikes every hour and half hour.

This fantastic and unique clock by the German company HAU (Hamburg Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik) was made in the 1920s. The HAU company had been operating since 1883 and in 1927-28 it was taken over by Junghans. The trademark is two crossed arrows. The clock box is made of wood.
