Best Suite at the Best Luxury Hotel in Paris - Le Meurice

- Here's a tour of the ultra-luxurious Belle Etoile (beautiful star) penthouse suite at Le Meurice (www.dorchestercollection.com/...) in Paris. The 3,300 square foot suite is truly incredible, the highlight of which is a 3,000 square foot private terrace with a 300-degree view of all the city's landmarks. The suite's bathroom is also considered the best (and the most marble-y!) in Paris.

The beauty of travel and viewing other's travel videos, I get many ideas to apply to my future home build. I believe that the home should be arranged like an exclusive hotel to be enjoyed on a daily basis.

Gorgeous! I fell I love with this suite when I watched Beyoncé do a photoshoot “a spring afternoon in Paris” for her album 4 on this rooftop, beyond beautiful and romantic

I love the Le meurice hotel, but the Ritz will always be my first choice of hotel in Paris.

IMO, the suite looks very disappointing, the whole structure of the suite just looks like a weird "add-on" to the building, the terrace looks very outdated, and the iron "fences" around are one of the worst part, I feel like the suite doesn't add up to the hotel and is just a weird add-on, as I mentioned before, that doesn't fit, interiors are very meh too, look very basic, and except for the bedroom and bathrooms, most of suite is very basic, not luxurious, and design wise, incomparable to the other suites in Le Meurice, and in paris. The closet was a awful room, same with the living room and "office" , especially compared to the other suites in the Maurice or in other palace hotels in Paris. Seems like a fraud for the price tag of from 14,500€ a night.
I would have to say the entry level room, seems more luxurious than the most expansive 15k suite.
Thanks for watching. First, it's 18,000 Euro a night! I agree with your comments but remember the suite is used mainly for events, photoshoots and parties, much more so than as a guest room. They just had an event there and the living room areas were more bare than normal. When a guest stays there, they dress the suite a bit with furniture, accessories and artwork.

Since I will soon be staying at the Hotel Le Meurice, I really hope it is a very luxurious hotel and this one it lives up to its reputation. I hope this is a real palace hotel and not just a basic five star hotel like many other hotels at Paris. Thank you for this video.
My friend, I can assure you, you will be impressed! It really is a palace hotel. You should know this Belle Etoile Suite has just been totally redesigned and renovated. It's now like a luxury apartment, they turned much of the patio area into a garden. Thank you for watching and enjoy your trip!!

Thanks for watching the video. You should note the suite was totally updated last year and has a beautiful, modern design now. When I filmed it, they had just finished an event so it looks a bit bare.

This penthouse suite is amazing..but to be honest,the Shangri-La suite,and the Imperial suite at the amazing Shangri-La Paris in my opinion are much more luxurious..when i saw those two suites at the Shangri-La in your videos,i was just speechless..

You are becoming an expert in Paris luxury hotel suites thanks to me! This hotel has nicer suites, I just haven't filmed them. This is the penthouse suite but it's mainly used for events, due to the huge terrace. They have a Presidential Suite and a few signature suites even nicer than the one I stayed in. I do love that Imperial Suite but it doesn't have good views. If you want views and like to be outside, the Shangri-La Suite is the best in Paris, I think.

Thanks for watching! The suite is used for parties and promotional events and I visited right after they had one, so it looks a bit bare. Good news, they just totally renovated and redesigned the suite and it looks amazing now, like a luxury apartment.

Not sure which doors you're referring to. It's a great suite and all the doors and furniture are beautiful. Keep in mind it's used for a lot of events and parties, that's why it has that huge terrace and huge living room.

Not special. Just vast area, but no taste at all.
Thanks for watching. This is a weird suite as it's mainly used for functions and events. They have a lot of parties there and the vast space is great for it. When there is a guest staying there, they stage it more personally so it feels less vast and more homey. I didn't stay there and they had just had an event the night before so it was especially bare.

Your hope has been answered. Yes, in 2019 the entire suite was renovated and updated. It's much more personal now, it used to be mainly an event space. I hope to visit soon and film a new tour. Thanks again for watching and please subscribe to my channel.

Even if I was offered a Free stay,I would refuse,REMEMBERING that this Hotel was the Headquarters of the GESTAPO during the occupation by the NAZI'S during the German occupation,I could not sleep thinking that someone could of been tortured in the same room,thank u but no thanks,Rene 88 yrs

Andre, I've read more about it, the hotel was the HQ of the Wehrmacht (German army) not the Gestapo.
thats spooky! i had a weird disturbing feeling upon watching . ..but thought It was cause that is a horrendous suite and a ghastly bathroom ...but then i read this comment and it made a lot of sensé.

I don't think anyone really cares whether you would book this room. The suite has been redesigned and the and the interior is much nicer. When I filmed it, the inside was a bit bland and the outside was the more impressive area. Thanks for watching!

@@FreddySherman If you're going to post a video you can't expect everyone to agree. It was not very well appointed and the deck did not show well. The video would not want to make me stay there. You said it was before the upgrade, so why didn't you wait for the upgrade? It's supposed to be about luxury, if it needs to be upgraded it's not the best.
@@TheCornerZoo Because I am a travel journalist and it's not my job to promote the hotel and make you want to stay there. The video was to go with a written review of the property. It was filmed several years ago before they even considered doing an upgrade.

horrible interior design ive ever seen in a suite
As I said in the video, the suite is mainly used for events and they had one earlier in the day. When they do that, they remove a lot of the furniture. You should see it now, in January, they did a full makeover and redesign.
