I occasionally boy Sonic from a RUclips channel and I'm working on a serious right now and me and my friends are doing different voices new voice voice direction comes in every line in fact Charles Martinez probably has been voice direction Kentucky sounds very sore to Holly sounded as Mario and Luigi's Mansion the first one some line almost sound identical I doubt they recast tomorrow but gave him new voice direction this is something that happens all the time characters it's just usually pretty subtle it's probably cuz Charles Martinez had the same voice direction for so long that the change is so much more noticeable also maybe it's to fit the vibe of the more wacky nature but it is still possible that they recasted mario also for wario yeah I think they recast him sorry for any typos or if anything sounds weird using text to speech
I know it might sound stupid but perhaps in this world he sounds different like the world is glitchy. Maybe the story/levels will explain
