Sometimes when people seem very happy after exhibiting these thoughts it's not them getting better, it's them being happy that their pain will soon be over like they know there's an end. I hope he's able to take a health break, but is not chastised for it behind the scenes.
I so hope BamBam takes time off, just like SHINee's Onew did. Bam's family stresses him out, I so hope he gets the needed psychological help...talk to Onew! Just like Onew, Bam has gotten soooo skinny.

My bias to praying for him
I’ve seen Jackson and Jessi commenting under BamBam’s posts recently, reaching out to him. I have sent him also a heartfelt message just a human to another human. I am really hoping he’ll get better.
For the Watch - and as someone who has suffered from Depression most of my life, its really hard. We have ups and downs on a daily basis that can't just be "cheered up". He needs to be put on medication and seen by a therapist. Just so you know, those of us who consider leaving this place, we just want the HURT to stop. Sometimes we feel like the world would be better off without us. Some of the things said to people like us are very insensitive and shows that you DONT GET IT! I pray that he and others get the help we need.
Why are people so sure the hurt is gonna stop after death? There’s zero proof.

I’ve seen how these girl or boy bands are so cut off, can’t date, can’t gain or lose to much weight, can’t look the wrong way or put together perfectly without judgement. I remember watching the vid with jimin, where all the guys were chowing down and he was acting like he was eatting. Made me so sad, you could see how hungry he was, but they wanted him to lose weight. Let’s stay out of these celebs lives, enjoy them from afar, and respect their privacy❤❤❤

It’s so sad because there’s a lot of people that have a lot of talent. They were born with it and at a young age of course they want to see the money they like the fans like them, but it’s OK but they still wanna have fun with their friends. They wanna play baseball basketball and have fun with friends but management and contracts, they want to get paid and so they rob these young people to not be normal so they go to social media to scream for help because no one is noticing that they asking for help it’s so sad and we’re going to see more of it

Korea's su*cide stats are particularly terrible for under 35s. It's wild to look at the overall stats, then the breakdowns - by wild, I mean terrifying.
Labour laws, a culture of strict hierarchy, massive misogyny, & normalised alcohol abuse (amongst other things) make things much harder than they should be. Honestly, there are so so so many things making life needlessly difficult for particularly under 35s in Korea.
It Sucks.
There are things to be celebrated, for sure, but many other things need to be closely examined & fundamentally changed.

You're totally right. There was no evidence that Moonbin unalived himself. In fact, the most likely cause of his death points to severe exhaustion, making his heart give out. There was a speculation circulating on line among his fans that the agency covered it up and made it appear like it was su-a-$!-D e, so they don't have to take responsibility. Apparently, his agency is notorious for overworking their idols. And yes, many people have died all over the world from exhaustion.
I think if he died due to natural causes, they would've announced that. The only reason ppl assume suicide is because thats what the police said and its becoming common to not release the cause of death when it's suicide to be respectful to the victim and the family.

OK. I'm 66 years old so I'm qualified to say this. I have had one hell of a life. From when I was born (in a kids home) till 35 my life was Shite. I have attempted Su****Ide on numerous occasions. Here is what I KNOW to be TRUE. Everything passes. Nothing stays the same forever. I look back and I feel so sorry for the person I was then. At the most difficult times was when I should have loved myself the most. Here is what I want t say to him: BamBam - don't do it. Nothing is more important than you. You are loved and wanted. I really do appreciate that you are using your platform to continue to talk about this epidemic in South Korea. I’m a silver fan, mom of kids Bam’s age, and I’m extremely worried about him. Bam and GOT7 have been a bright light in my life for years. I’m a rarely-post kinda person, but I sent him a mom hug on Weverse bc, damn, his posts … A HUGE thanks for speaking out about this. I hope our support can help him through this rough time and he has someone in his life taking this seriously. As a Japanese American, I 100% agree that Asian culture MUST normalize mental health support and access. 😢
Loves these guys, even Jackson said he goes thru depression, that's why on his last tour he was drinking a lot, but I think, he got some help. it's really sad. I pray for them, that they do have good people that will look after them.
First it was jackson with the criptic messges and then bambam...my thing is theyve always seemed close, and i knew maybe they had distanced a bit once i seen how jackson was doing. I was like where are your brothers. And jackson did imply in a tweet they were all doing their own thing amd implying they wernt as close. Ans then this. Where are their friends and members? So that shows me how theyve distanced since their solo activities. Their having a comeback in 2025. I hope that will bring them togehter. It seems their at their happiest when their together

Nothing about having suicidal thoughts or deep depression comes out of the blue... ever! Take it from someone who's lived generational mental dysfunction. These are deeply ingrained traumas suppressed enough to 'seem' normal & functional until bam! present/current events provide the trigger for every hidden wound to come back with a vengeance... I hope we all seek professional help in dealing with our traumas and I pray we become a kinder society for all who struggle emotionally on a daily basis..

It seems like the only ones pressuring K-Pop stars are the people (label, promoters, managers, etc) because without the star(s) BTS, Seventeen, Jackson, Black Pink, Cha Eun-woo, IU, etc. they wouldn't be making the money they are making off of these stars. They keep pushing them beyond exhaustion. Some can handle the pressure, some people thrive on pressure, others don't handle it very well. The industry needs to be a little more diligent taking care of these idols, they aren't robots; they are human beings with a heart. Take better care of them. Even the strongest have weak moments. Give them time alone, give them space to breathe, give them a life to live and love. Okay, I can go on and on, but I've said enough. 💛💛🦋💛💛.
That is true, but i also feel like fans can be that way too. Criticizing their appearance, singing, dancing, anger for not touring in their city/country, pressure/demand for new music, etc. Its all too much 😔

Some of the bigger stars like BTS, Jackson, IU and Eunwoo have a lot of power in their companies and can decide how much work they want to do. A lot of the pressure that idols feel often comes from themselves. They want to continue to be successful, make money and keep their teams employed. Jackson has talked about how many people he has working for him and how he feels obligated to keep the team running. Late DJ Avicii also struggled with anxiety and pressure he put on himself because he felt like he had to support everyone who worked for him and keep his friends happy. Bambam, like Moonbin have been at it since they were small children, they really need like time away away from the whole industry. A year at minimum, just to see if they feel the desire to actually continue because when you're in the thick of it, you just feel like there is no other way to live. I pray he is okay and meets JB and JY when they get out of the military, which is something Moonbin never got to do with MJ.
Mental health and illness, though we've made a bit of progress, is still seen as a stigma in society. I suffer from Paranoid-Schizophrenia, anxiety, and depression and how people want me to function like a "normal" citizen of society, with my stuff together, can be disheartening for me. I can't imagine how intensified those feelings become when being under the spotlight in front of millions of eyes. I'm always wanting the best for these idols because, just like any human being, they deserve the best from what this life has to offer, whether that be love, happiness, security, etc. But people have to stop suffocating them and putting so much expectations on their shoulders. They are entertainers but not puppets. They have wishes and desires like everybody does and that deserves to be respected.

I know his pain of wanting all of the weight to stop. I'm not as pressured as he is or busy and in the spotlight but depression takes you to very dark places. I hope he gets help and talks about everything without feeling like he's a burden.

Just od that people chatt about this but can't contact the label hes at that they have close check on him on what's he's up to and that he get the rest he needs and if must send him home to his parents so he can loved once around him and that he can take time off. Fans are to the risk maker when they spot an idol out with someone they take pictures and send them around that the idols can't seem to have any privacy and idols tpo want to find love or be out with friends without later find that dating rumors are sirculing even if he's not dating or anything, becarse we don't know if it might be colab thing planing that they talkt and went out eating or just as friends out shopping and eating. We as fans gas to learn the respect when we see an idol and leave them alone with no pictures taken nor videos becarse you wouldn't either like having photoes taken of you if you where the idol. Put it that way next time if you see an idol, how would you take it and feel.

Reminds me of a girl I used to know whose life suddenly ended because while recovering from some cold they managed to miss something crucial with her health thus resulting in complications and death.
Yeah, but i feel like if it were health related, they wouldve simply released his cod. Keeping a suicide private is respectful to him and his family.

Moonbin's mom has spoken out about how it bothers their family that people say he unalived himself and said they'd like people to stop speculating. With that said I still don't know what to think, he could've had some kind of condition that we didn't know about that caused his deäth. Just putting it out there as a thought to consider.

I say this as a long-time Aroha who actually read what his mom wrote and it was more in the line that she didn't want speculation and gossip taking place in the cafe and her message was directed at people who were saying he died of a stroke. While his mom never clarified the cause of death, she certainly at no point mentioned suicide as not being the cause of death. Moonbin was very brave, in that he shared his lifelong struggle with anxiety directly in live chats. His family and friends letters are also indicative of self-harm. It doesn't make him any less of a great artist and a beloved son, brother and friend.

Isis, just to let you know, Moon Bin did not commit suicide. He had a heart problem, which is why he died. If he hadn’t been alone, they could have rushed him to the hospital.
