I built a sabre motor in a 1983 magna frame. Kerker four into one exhaust. This build was in 2004. The bike was dyno tested at 106.3 hp. Crazy fun to ride. I miss that bike.
Nice bike, I've had 2 v65's, 2 v45's, Suzuki Madura, GS1100GL, 2 ZN1100's and a 2003 Z1000. I think I liked my 1983 V65 with forward controls and my GS1100GL the best over all, I've always wanted a ZL but can't find one in Northern Michigan.

Nice purchase you got yourself there! What I don’t get is why the Saber motor instead of the original SC12? Is it because for reliability reasons?
