I mean he was Top 5 for second half of 2018 and even considered Top 3 in first half 2019. He simply has really bad roles on liquid (unlike elige for example) and he is a bad online player as he said by himself, he also always has a quite high ping cuz he lives in canada not usa. (about the roles, for example on vertigo he is solo b anchor and almost never sees opponents, on inferno as t he always has to watch a apps push so when his team entrys he is still the one on a holding the flank etc...
Did you have any weird sound bugs? To me sounded as if util and bombs were coming from opposite direction to what i was hearing. And yes i do have my headset on right
I kinda agree, but it's also that Stewie is arguably there best AWPer and if they replaced him and he went to say, EG or Gen G or Complexity or Cloud9, that could be really bad for Liquid if they have to face off with a fully realized Stewie in a team who can use him better. He also has been known for making amazing mid-round calls and his mindset fits the "aggressive fragger" style of Liquid, so maybe he's not all that bad, I mean how can we really tell until 1. We see some more results, because remember other teams that have even become the best teams in the world, have had really bad streaks and until 2. it's goes back to LAN where Liquid were originally dominant anyways, they were never known as particularly good online players except maybe Stewie and Grim, but Stewie isn't as much of an onliner as he was once considered.
